He does so to achieve His purpose and plan. Obama is not the only base man that has ever lead this country, simply read a little about every leader we have had and you will find this to be a fact.
Perhaps God appointed him, after all he uses even the wicked for his purpose however we also cannot ignore the fact it very well could have been the enemy as well. Barrack Obama is literally the worst president we have ever had and he doesn't play by the rules either. Also I just want to mention that his name is in the bible in Genesis andnot matter how you look at it the way his name is in it doesn't look Good.
I mean honestly I know so many people say he is the antichrist and I have him under suspect of being so but i also have others under suspicion as well. I admit he is the only president I have ever known to be called our Lord and savior he is the only one I have found his name in the bible but many presidents before him were also labeled as the antichrist as well. btw he needs to color his hair black again the grey just doesnt work for him at all

God appointing and God allowing are two different things.I do not think God would want a president like Obama who mocks the Bible and is against Bible principals.

I don't agree with him most of the time but we are still commanded to pray for those in leadership.

I dont agree with his politics but he can be a funny fellow. MOst people saw the clip of him at the voting polls yesterday and a woman's boyfriend went up to him and said "don't touch my girlfriend" xD Hilarity ensued from there.

My 'personal' belief - besides that sassylady is very correct in saying that we are to pray for the man is that, I sincerely believe that this man is merely a titular head or in other words - just a chosen puppet for the true power behind the throne.
God help him in either case, to see and follow Christ one day, completely.

I actually don't agree with this. The way our country is set up, the People, We The People are the leader. Scripture talks about honoring the King, and in America, the King is We The People. When you think about it, in this day in this country, God has appointed us as leader.
The president is merely an officer assigned to serve us, and when he doesn't do that, we're expressly asked by our constitution to rebuke him. I liken the president to the jailers that Paul rebuked. Paul took issue with them because they were not following Roman law. In essence they were not carrying out the will of the emperor and so Paul rebuked them, and rightly so.
The same should be true with Obama. If he's not carrying out the will of the people, We The People, then he should be rebuked and taken to task.
That said, he deserves the same dignity all people deserve, so I'm not advocating disrespect toward him. But rebuke for sure. No man is above the law in America.

only his enemies have ever called him "messiah" or "savior" -- this is a carefully calculated accusation designed to deceive christians into buying into the opposite political party's vitriol.
in the last six years we've been under the brunt of the possibly the largest propaganda machine in the history of the world, all aimed at stirring up hatred and mistrust towards our (twice) elected president and buying votes for his political opponents.

ya those names are not exactly what meant,I meant to say how his name is found in the bible in Luke 10:18 the words I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven. Lightning in hebrew I believe was baraq and heaven obama. Now I don't believe in coincidences but this seems pretty suspect
