Hi, I just want to give my testimony about how the Lord delivered me from pornography. I had looked at and watched pornography before I was a Christian. It was never an addiction, just a bad habit. After I became a Christian, I did not look at it. Then after I was married, I started looking at it again with my husband. Then I did it even when he wasn't around. I was watching it one day. Then I noticed my cat was in peril. Her life was in danger, but I rescued her and she was fine. Somehow I interpreted it that the Lord was telling me my spiritual life was in danger when I watched pornography. I never looked at it again after that. Now I find it disgusting. After having learned more about the industry, I would never view it again since I have uncovered so many awful truths about it. I am thankful to God for delivering me from that sin.

God used a great fish to get Jonah’s attention. He made a donkey talk to get Balaam’s attention. When Elijah was hiding in fear, God used ravens to bring him some food & to show His great power. God used Behemoth & Leviathan to get Job to remember He is Almighty. So why wouldn’t God use a kittycat to get your attention! Right? Bless God! :o

trump card that has won the game for Satan.

I am glad that you rescued your cat and yourself.

God definitely works in mysterious ways at times. I am glad that God delivered you from that stuff too and that your cat is OK. Glad to have you join us. Welcome to CC.
 
God uses animals very much so in getting our attention, which is why it is good to have a pet.
 
When we listen for God it is good to notice things, sometimes cats are just cats though- it takes discernment, and confirmation, and in some cases repetition of certain themes, there are times when we can trust our intuition and times that we need to leave it God. I hope that your strength and lessons can help yiur husband and you both can be strong in your life. Many Blessings
 
That's a great testimony! My husband and I used to watch it too until not long after kids were on the scene... I started seeing how young these girls were and became disgusted with them! No cat, but He uses what He can to help us out of the pit! If we just watch or listen!!! Good for you!

I hope that you have overcome, the sin nature can be very difficult to conquer when it has grown roots in your soul.
 
God certainly does speak to us through signs--most of all He rescues us and LOVES when we obey his Word and His teachings. It's a blessing to hear your testimony and to know you've brought God into your heart to live as he wants us to live.

God works in mysterious ways.

I remember I was going to watch pornography and I was interrupted. God can use anything to get our focus back on him and flee a tempting situation.
