The story of Noah is one of the stock examples Pre Tribbers use to support their version of the Rapture. The argument goes that Noah being saved from the flood is a figure of the Church who like him will be spared by being taken from the Earth before the Tribulation begins. But who was actually taken in the flood and who was left?
Matt 24:38-39
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking marrying and giving in marriage
until Noe entered into the Ark.
And knew not until the flood came and took them all away so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be
According to Jesus it wasn't Noah that was taken away but the wicked. Noah and is family were those left safe and sound in the Ark.
MATT 24:40
Then shall two be in a field oneshall be taken and and the other left
Two Women shall be grinding at a millthe one shall be taken and the other left
LUKE 17:34 -37
I tell you in that night there shall be two men in one bed the one shall be taken and the other shall be left
Two Women shall be grinding together the one shall be taken and the other left
Two men shall be in the field the one shall be taken and the other left
And they answered unto him Where Lord? And he said unto them
Wheresoever the body is thither will the Eagles gather together
MATT 24:28
For wheresoever the carcass is there will the Eagles be gathered together
If according to Jesus the wicked were taken away in the flood where were people taken in the last days?
REV 19:17-18
And I saw an Angel standing in the Sun and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the fowls that fly in
the midst of heaven come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God
That ye may eat the flesh of captains and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and
of them that sit on them and the flesh of all men both free and bond both small and great.
Make sure you attend the right feast
