Are there any foods your kids would not eat, or that you had to warn of disciplinary consequences if they didn't eat? My son's were peas and celery. My grandnephew's was oatmeal.
God bless Mom.I don't have any kids. But when I WAS a kid, my mother had a cure for that problem. She cooked food and we ate or did not eat.
You can tell by looking at me, I didn't go hungry.
My oldest didn't want to eat green beans. I told that if she opened them up she'd find presents inside. After that, green beans were well received by all of our children. I never served them the yucky stuff like brussels sprouts and artichokes...
How did you get away with repeatedly serving your kids green beans -- but with no actual presents inside?!!
I would have been (loudly) complaining about false advertising after the 2nd bean!![]()
The presents were the little beans inside the string, silly.
I still say that's false advertising!!
Beans are NOT presents.![]()
Lord, thank you for giving me the children you did. I don't think I could have managed a young seoulsearch...![]()
They are not bitter anymore. food nerds have been tinkering with them the last few years and the kinds they serve now are not bitter at all.I can only speak for my childhood self.. When i was a kid i could not stand Brussels sprouts..
And i still avoid them like the plague.. Bitter little devils
