So tonight was the end of our Youth Camp, and for those who don't know that that is, it's basically just a few days of camping, filled with bonding, building, and God. :) So a fire for Him has been ignited in my heart, and I want to keep it there. Is there anybody here, (because my "friends" have left me for being a christian.) who I can talk to and pray with about things? Or ask questions? I could really use help on this walk.
 
My advice....if the youth group is on regularly, GO! Find someone you feel comfortable talking to (one of the leaders/just a friend) and let them know. Im sure they'd be more than honoured to help you out! Also, the friends ditching you thing......I've pretty much been a christian all my life (christian home) and there are so many people who accept you for being a Christian. So dont worry about not having friends.....because there are so many great people out there who may not be Christians that will be your friends, best friends even. The bible says "for you are in the world but not of it" (thats not directly quoted btw). You're God's child now!! IT'S AWESOME!!!

but most of all....NEVER be discouraged!! you have the BIGGEST guy in the UNIVERSE on YOU'RE side!!!

I applaud you for taking the step towards Christ. I have been in the same situation with my friends dumping me because they thought that I was too caught up in church stuff and God. You can never be TOO caught up in the Lord. Youth camps are amazing things. That is where I was saved at 13. God is so amazing and will NEVER let you down. I would be glad to talk with you at any time. I really do commend you for stepping out and down the road less traveled. God Bless you. I am here if you need me. Hey! ill gladly keep you company in this journey that you'll be taking lol. in fact im in need of some christian friends if you read my thread. Please do not let your friends let you backslide in christ but keep strong in him and know hes always there for you even if your friends arent. message me if you want or if u have msn and stuff we could talk there :)
