"Quite often, Christians will get accused of relying on themselves instead of Christ, "

Take this with grain of salt its ok. When I was young this instrumental song was playing. I was feeling really beat up by the enemy. At the start of the song I picture me being beat up by the enemy and all I could say was Jesus.. the song just started to buid faster and faster so I pictured that tiny prayer going to heaven right to the Fathers ear and the song just stops there them BOOM I picture the Father telling the angel to go.. so he goes .. and some other angels know why and where hes going and they come also. And as the song just explodes at the end I pictured angels all around me.

I don't know why but I played the song again picturing the same thing but I said Jesus take over before I started the 2nd time. So as the angels are coming at lightening speed.. and I picture them around me.. this time I can't.. no I could not picture any angel.. there was just one standing.. it was Jesus.. oh that blew me away.

Again I was young and that taught me.. look to Him nothing else.. not angels so forth only Him. This is only about "relying on Him instead of self or anything else.

Song..
Hard Fought Hallelujah
