There have been multiple dreams and visions and warnings concerning this and apparently it is very close.

Preceding the 3 days of darkness there will be about 24 hours, maybe a little more of "dancing lights" or what we normally consider the aurora borealis but worldwide. That is your warning. When you see that you want to get home, you want to have something to cover your windows with. You could use Black garbage bags and duct tape. Because the three days of darkness begins immediately after these dancing lights and for three days the situation outside of your house will be a real life horror movie. People who see it will die from heart attacks.

However, if you are a Christian, when you take the Lord's table it renews your covenant with the Lord and that covenant provides protection over your house. The fallen angels and demons will not enter your house unless you open the door. (They are familiar spirits so they can sound like someone you know outside trying to get in).

They will know all of your sins that are not repented of and washed by the blood. So if your conscience reminds you of any unrepented sins, then this is the time to confess and repent. Any bitterness in your heart, any unforgiveness, these things need to be dealt with.

Basically that is a summary of what others have seen. You should be ready, running to the store when you see the dancing lights is possibly going to be too late.

The Bible warns, “Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1). All personal revelations and private prophecies must be tested and subjected to scrutiny to see if they have any validation in Scripture. Individual visions must never be treated equally with what God’s Word has expressly revealed.

Some Catholics are deeply troubled by the predictions of the three days of darkness prophecy. However, believers do not need to be burdened over private revelations or live in fear of the end of days. Instead, we should focus on being ready for the future. Jesus urged us in Matthew 24:42–44 to be spiritually prepared for His return.

I am not familiar with this person, or prophecy and it is not the basis of me sharing this.

Rather, Ecclesiastes says "that which has been is that which shall be". Jesus was crucified and went into the tomb for three days where he toured hades and the underworld. We are the body of Christ. Some will be raptured during this time, this is also the time when the dead in Christ will rise. But most who claim to be Christians will be those crying "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me" as they realize they are not going in the rapture but will be going through the tribulation.

Just as the last plague preceding the Passover in Egypt was a darkness that can be felt, the same will be true of the last plague before we go into the seven year tribulation.

Jesus said that many would be rejected and "cast out into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth". Any claim that this three days of darkness is not Biblical is false. It was both foreshadowed in the Old Testament and prophesied of in the New Testament.

All those left behind after the rapture will be the ones Jesus is referring to here.

If you have unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart then you too will be cast into outer darkness.

Also,

The origin of this 3 day darkness is based in a so called vision a Catholic woman had, a Maria Taigi 1769-1837, an Italian mystic who was beatified by the Roman Catholic Church.

According to her visions, only 'blessed candles' will provide light. She stated that all enemies of the church...THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH....would be purged from the world. She stated if you went outside during the 3 days, you would be dealt with by demons and evil spirits.

That, is the source of this so called prophecy. It has been massaged over the years to appear in different forms but always expressing 3 days of darkness.

Some followers of Taigi, tie the three days of darkness prophecy with biblical prophecies (such as Isaiah 50:3 and Joel 2:31) and private revelations that speak of signs and wonders preceding the final judgment. However, the Bible says nothing about three days of darkness directly connected with end-times events. Others try to tie the prophecy to Revelation 6:12 and 16:10. Both those passages involve blackness and a lack of sunlight; however, neither mentions three days of total darkness.

Jesus said "with what judgement you judge you shall be judged". If you judge someone is a false prophet who isn't, then yes, you can be judged with that same judgment.

I disagree. I also had never heard of this and so I prayed, I asked the Lord for guidance, and I came to the conclusion that I had been wrong. Everyone must be crucified with Christ before they can experience the outstanding resurrection. That involves the entire process.

No, I have no idea about your heart. However, I realize that it is very serious to claim someone is a false prophet. There are times in the last 50 years that I have done this, but not flippantly. There was great prayer and fasting over this decision and every time it came at a very great cost.

Yes everyone should be able to discern. I frequently will discern that something is not for me. But that is not the same thing as accusing a brother or sister of being a false prophet. It is one thing for the Holy Spirit to tell you to stop listening to something and a very different thing for the Lord to charge you to stand against a ministry and call out the minister as a false prophet. This should absolutely be done according to Matthew 18.

The bible is the more sure word of prophecy. The question was whether or not the three days of darkness was in the Bible. The Lord's word about casting some out into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth at the time of the rapture is clearly a Biblical basis for this word. That is undeniable. You can argue about whether or not it is three days, but you can't argue about how long the Lord was in the tomb taking a tour of hades. Nor can you argue with Ecclesiastes that that which has been is that which shall be nor can you argue with Jesus telling those who want to follow Him to take up their cross.

Discerning spirits is something we must do, but at the same time God has said He would speak to us in dreams and visions. To claim that all dreams and visions are from false prophets is contrary to the Lord's word.

I am aware of some of these recent dreams and visions. However, I post this thread because there is a Biblical basis for this, not because of any dream or vision. That is my process of discerning, does this line up with the word of God and if so, what does the Bible say.

I have quoted the Bible. We have a very clear Old Testament shadow of a special darkness associated with the rapture (Moses said you shall see my face no more).

We also have a very clear reference to an "outer darkness" that takes place at the same time as the rapture.

We also have a principle in Ecclesiastes that "that which has been is that which shall be". We are told clearly in the Bible that Jesus was in the tomb for three days and during that time he took a tour of hades. We are also told clearly that at the same time that the manchild is caught up to heaven the fallen angels are cast down to earth.

Therefore there is a Biblical basis for this "gross darkness" or "outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" at the time of the rapture.

You should understand that once a person starts accepting what is false as truth, it becomes a whirlpool in which people are dragged under.

Oh I saw that. Even the devil quotes the Bible....all the time in fact. He quoted it to Jesus so ... a person has to see when the Bible is used, yes used, like a tool to promote personal agendas and teachings. You use the OT to try and make false prophecies true but doing mashups and taking things out of context and spinning what the text is actually saying...like Moses...is a land far far away....but not on any map.

Anyway, I have no idea or thought I can persuade you away from this. I have concern for those who think anyone who says they are a prophet or God said this or that, is actually speaking for God. Most of them are not and those who are, are not posting about it all over the net or even in church.
