This is so hard topic to me. I have nothing against gays, God loves gays, but the bible is against gays.

Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Being gay is a sin. Engaging in homosexual activity is a sin. God hates homosexuality, and the bible states that it's a sin.. If you would rather be gay, and stay in that place, rather than abide in and live with God, I truly pity you because one day soon you will end up in hell for being a homosexual.. With that being said, I have nothing against gay people, I have several gay friends, but I DO disapprove of their lifestyles..
 
Maybe you can't help being gay, that in itself isn't a sin - carrying out the act IS sin.
 
It is the practice of homosexuality that is an abomination to God.

It is a perversion of his natural law regarding mankind.

Kleptomania, pedophilia are just as ingrained as homosexuality.
Their practice requires a lifetime of restraint and control, as does homosexuality.

Those who turn sincerely to God in belief and obedience will find his help in time of need.

Every person struggles with different sins on different levels. It's why the bible says to hold sinful thoughts captive to the will of God. To say it's ingrained instills hopelessness to sin. Thankfully submitting to Gods will offers a level of peace.
