    Understanding God’s election

He has not. When the clay was spoiled in His hand, did God "slip" up and make a mistake? Or did the clay resist His hands?

And if we, as believers, cannot even get off of the starting line(the Doctrine of salvation) We have no chance of advancing in His plan for us. Absolutely He did not. Rom 9:22 What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with great patience objects of wrath prepared for destruction? 2 Tim 2:21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor...

    Understanding God’s election

To me it's pretty simple. The Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again for ALL of mankind. And His Good news to ALL/the Whole world is..........ALL can have salvation in And through Him. John 3:16>>>>Acts 16:31. Equal opportunity for ALL. Who would want that message stopped? The Lord Jesus Christ...

We could not make a sci Fi movie today that would rival what was really going on in the days of Noah.

So what are those drones over New Jersey?

Yeah you are right, 399.9 miles is dotted with missiles not 400 miles. I do believe my post went a little over your head!:p

So what are those drones over New Jersey?

I live in Montana. If they shot it down here, it would have landed on top of the missile silo they were spying on. 100 yds or so away from the land China bought from our corrupt Government.

James 4:6 But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Proverbs 3:34 He mocks the mockers, but gives grace to the humble. Luke 18:13 But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward...

    Understanding God’s election

When I first read your post , my knee jerk reaction was, " His diety cannot interfere with His true humanity or vice versa." .....But that was only during His physical life on earth. Very plausible in my book. One I think I could hang my hat on.

I will give you my old standard playbook answer: That is not what reformed theology teaches. You are misrepresenting reformed theology. Now. I apologize I was caught up in that heresy.

    Understanding God’s election

That NAILS it. And I witnessed it first hand. I was in the "exclusive" mens Bible(it was reformed study) study in my old church. It was night and day from what you heard during church to the "Bible" study!

    Understanding God’s election

I went deeper into reformed theology than you have? I went all the way down the rabbit hole. I tried to sugar coat my belief of "saved THEN belief" Or how election and predestination was about salvation. I tried to reason every part of my TULIP. And all of you folks are using the very same...

    Understanding God’s election

We constantly get accused of misrepresenting their beliefs. I for one was stuck in reformed theology for 10 years. I know EXACTLY what they believe. @ForestGreenCook who has participated in this thread, is the only honest one and has come to the logical conclusion of Calvinism and its...

    Understanding God’s election

It's completely fair. And it makes complete sense. Him doing it this way........makes salvation possible to ALL. If we were left to our own devices and had our chance like Adam. We ALL would have failed and died. God put a halt to that the moment Adam failed and condemned us ALL. So His...

    Understanding God’s election

It's another contradiction and a tough spot to explain away....If one doesn't accept the gift, logically one doesn't have it. If accepting the gift is a work , the calvies in a tight spot to try to explain they have the gift, but didn't accept the gift...open the gates for word salad.
