    Ukraine the bad guy?

Western nations will paint anybody who challenges them or who does something they don't want them to do as the 'bad guy'. The reality RE Russia/Ukraine is this: The EU are on a power grab and invited Ukraine to join. Same for NATO. Russia, perfectly understandably, saw this as a threat.

Is it OK for our churches to have Christmas trees, bingo games, or Easter egg hunts?ts,

Yes, of course it's fine. Nobody is suggesting we begin worshipping the Easter bunny. It's called tradition and any words against this in particular is simply a result of man-made dogma.

While I would be inclined to agree, statistics relating to the average age of the mother at birth of first child don't indicate this: "In the USA, the average age at which women bore their first child advanced from 21.4 years old in 1970 to 26.9 in 2018". source: Advanced maternal age - Wikipedia

Thanks for your post. Just a reminder that it's 2023 and not 1953. A guy and lady can socialise without the urge to tear each other's clothes off.

    Navigating church culture

Hey :) Thanks for your reply. I did indeed join a small group in Hillsong church. Nice people, don't get me wrong. But when I left I was blanked by most of them, almost in a similar way that you hear of ex-members of scientology being blanked by their former 'friends'. Of course, it felt...

    Navigating church culture

Hello from the UK. I still consider myself as being a new Christian and I have some questions/observations about navigating church culture. I guess I'll just dive right in with my questions. 1. I have been part of a Hillsong church where I thought I had a group of friends. I left that church...
