Is it possible, then, that since He does the choosing, there are those who He does not choose -- those to whom He does not extend his mercy?

I am so sorry for your suffering! I, too, have suffered because of spiritual warfare. No one can understand if they have not walked this horrible walk. We do not choose this suffering. I struggle to understand why Jesus does not deliver us from this horrific pain. There is no greater pain!

Mental illness is a myth. It is a direct spiritual assault! I have suffered in a similar way, and no medications can take it away because it is NOT a physical illness. Read scripture. We are not alone. Demonic attacks are prevalent throughout the Bible.
