    Loss of salvation???

One either loves the truth more than their own life or they don't. :)

    Loss of salvation???

I have email notifications turned off so can't help you there I'm afraid. Sorry.

    Loss of salvation???

I listened to all the Christian platitudes when I first believed, they had no more depth of answers then as they do now. Reality is a "beach", especially when it indwells you bodily and won't leave until the day that body is redeemed. ;)

    Loss of salvation???

If you believe in Christ you are born of God. Good luck becoming unborn of Him, I'm sure you will have as much success as you would being unborn of your parents. :) You should do more research on free will, it is not without it's limits, that is what makes it free. Or maybe you weren't savvy...

    Loss of salvation???

Apparently you think free will means you get to tell God what He can and can't do? Good luck with that. Well, going by your response, you didn't get what I was saying. Has nothing to do with irresistible grace, everything to do with what the verse stated. You were bought with a...

    Loss of salvation???

It was the Lord God who decided how you would be saved and by what means. We never gave Him permission to do anything. If we have believed in Him we have simply agreed with Him that He is true to His word.

    Loss of salvation???

I'm not a Calvinist and I'm not playing. Did you not read the scripture? The Holy Spirit does not abide in your body by means of your permission. You no longer own yourself, you belong to Christ. Our bodies have been sealed for the Day of redemption. Get used to it. The Lord will discipline us...

    Loss of salvation???

Have you read the forums lately? To water baptism or not? To lose salvation or not? To replace Israel or not? I could keep going on but you get the point. What do you have to stop counting as being true and how do you even do that if you believe it is true? It's enough to send one insane. ;)

    Loss of salvation???

Shock, horror!! 🤯 Allow? As if the Lord God needs your permission to do His work in you! Unbelievable. 1 Corinthians 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. If you belong to Christ, the Lord will do His work in you either...

    Loss of salvation???

But you can't seem to define what The Faith is from which one is falling to the point they have lost their salvation. Do you think one who denies the Trinity is listening to lying spirits and has fallen from the faith hence has lost their salvation? 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says...

    Loss of salvation???

Interesting. You are quite adamant a person who falls from the faith loses their salvation but then you cannot define what falling from the faith is?

    Loss of salvation???

Ouch believes in Oneness Pentecostalism (nontrinitarian). Has He fallen away from the Faith? Has he been deceived by lying spirits? Is he saved?

    Loss of salvation???

Last question first. Sorry I meant tautology. I think I was suffering from your problem, no energy when I answered. :) Still working backwards, this is how I understand it. Q.2 What else are you going to do but believe? What else can you do? Remembering here, that if you believe something, you...

    Loss of salvation???

I'm afraid I still don't see a third option in there. As the verse states .. I live because of Christ's faithfulness. This is essentially my argument in that it is Christ's life in us that takes a hold as we rest in the faith we have. Salvation is the inheritance of Christ because of His perfect...

    Loss of salvation???

I was shocked to hear a Calvinist claim he has moments when he doubts whether he is saved the other day. It seems there are Calvinists and there are Calvinists.

    Loss of salvation???

If you consider being made spiritually alive so we can relate to the Lord God a prize, then I guess everyone who believes gets a "prize". I consider it being normalised and being made whole. Of course that is the starting position and maturing in Christ is the end goal of that normalization for...

    Loss of salvation???

Who says it does? As far as I see with those who believe in the doctrine of Eternal Security, it is God's promise and His fidelity that keeps us saved. Our fidelity results in an abundant life or less abundance accordingly and if we do a really bad job of our Christian walk loss of rewards in...

    Loss of salvation???

I thought I understood your post. Correct me if I am wrong but essentially you said "believing the word of God is obeying". Whether that is for initial salvation or for subsequent salvation (sanctification). This is why we are saved by grace, through faith. Eph.2:8 For without faith no-one can...

    Loss of salvation???

Instead of criticizing maybe you should have asked for further clarification? You could have fooled me on that last line as you seem to be very quick to dismiss those who disagree with you and as noted above, prefer judgment over clarification. I find it hard to take you seriously to be...
