    Providence Springs Andersonville, Georgia

I've been here many times. It is definitely moving to see what these soldiers experienced. Almost as bad as the concentration camps by Germany and occupied under Japan.

    Mental Illness

Thank you, would this mean something must die to produce life?

    Mental Illness

For a long time, I thought I had you defeated. But only to find that it was I who was conceited. Thinking I had accomplished maintaining peace. My sanity began to cease. Stuck in a spiral, as I try to fight it with denial. I discovered it was all a facade, a self-made prison of security. An...

    A season of hardship

Thankfully the surgery was not needed. The surgery was a risk due to blood thinners and the fracture was determined to be in a place that could heal on its own. Plus 6 weeks of having your jaw wired shut is no fun.

    A season of hardship

He is 61 and was getting around great before the heart attack last week. We are thinking the 6 new medications, blood pressure, of just weakness caused him to fall. Not sure though because he doesn't remember the fall or the cause.

    A season of hardship

Thank you. They have found a fracture in his jaw and plan to do surgery tonight. His attitude is not very great today. Hoping it's just the pain meds making him look so defeated.

    A season of hardship

Needing prayers again, father was admitted last week into the hospital for heart attack. All things seemed to be good on the road to recovery as he was released 3 days later. Saturday morning at 3 A.M. I got the call saying he had fallen at home face first and a lot of blood. He went back to the...

You do not know God, because you do not seek God.

Thank you for seeking clarification, I could have explained better. (Two requirements for God to listen to us. We must be a worshiper of Him and do the will of God that is written in the Bible for all Christians.) To clarify I should of added two requirements for God to listen to us 100% of...

    Our Christmas Hope

One of my favorite books in the Bible is the book of Hebrews and we don't even objectively know who the author is other than the fact he was either close to the Apostles or an Apostle himself. His name is purposely left off which some believe was due to the importance of the message with the...

    Are there really true atheists?

Very true. Which is why you always look towards evidence no matter how circumstantial it may seem. Could there be a tea pot between Earth and Mars? It's plausible to assume that Earth trash could escape the gravitational pull due to space exploration but because we have only explored within...

    Are there really true atheists?

Of course, there are no real atheists. Why? Logically that would imply that to believe that God doesn't exist is to know that He doesn't. How could you know if God doesn't exist by the definition of an eternal, spaceless, immaterial, and all-knowledgeable being? You would equally have to of...

Are you a body with a soul, or a soul with a body?

You are both. Currently: aging body and eternal soul Future: glorified eternal body and eternal soul God designed us with the body as part of who we are. It just goes through a transformation.

    A season of hardship

Thank you! Trust the process even if I don't like the process. It's difficult sometimes.

    A season of hardship

Just a compilation of things. Wife and kids are really struggling with strep. The ministry that I lead, I have been struggling this year as we have grown but not growth in volunteering. Starting this ministry I knew it would have moments like these so I suppose I'm just feeling it at the moment...

    A season of hardship

One thing after another has got to me mentally. Things have felt more like a mountain climb than a flat winding path. Prayers would be appreciated as I'm not even sure why it is getting at me. Maybe just tired. Usually my method is to just bulldoze through it but it seems I have got it stuck...

What are you looking in person?

Thank you. It is good to remind ourselves that preference can sometimes set the bar higher than their social circle. This can sometimes cause people to lower the bar for example to date a more secular-minded individual who may be friendly to the faith but does not grow in the faith. Out of...

What are you looking in person?

For me it was Faith Personality Smart Wise Responsible Beautiful Wanted a family A productive attitude A caregiver when sick or hurt Biblically guided on how to live as a Godly spouse or Godly mother. But it is these preferences that keep me attracted to her. As it aligns with my core...

    Sermon Advice

(I spoke in church a couple of years ago, it was mostly just a testimony but I was still really nervous. One thing that helped was reminding myself that it probably wouldn't be the worst 15 minutes of anyone's life, so they could tough it out even if I faltered. Also remembering that they were...

    Sermon Advice

This seems to be a trending move within churches or Christians to start house churches or meet in areas that eliminate the need for all the expenses of a church building. Some are very blessed by a Christian owner or business to use a meeting location for free.

Do you believe I will never be of God's elect if I don't worship your view of God?

Here are some questions that can help you start this truth-seeking journey. 1. Does truth exist 2. Does God exist 3. Are miracles possible 4. Is the Biblical New Testament reliable? 1. Unfortunately we have to start here because some nowadays try to teach relativism. The laws of logic with...
