Hello, i hope this doesn't seem weird i'm in support of the match making thing.. kindly write me by mail if you're interested in getting to know eachother torriemakaayATgmail.
I think Stillness and Silence and Centering before God is allowing God to speak and move us in any way He choses which gives way to His Wisdom and power and will. This keeps me desiring Him - it keeps me humble and thankful and enthused that he would adopt me into this Family. Thank You anointed - May God keep you close and bear witness of Himself to your spirit today. Thank you - that was great.
I have nothing to say against recreation in its proper place. Certain forms of recreation are needful and useful; but it is a wretched thing when amusement becomes a vocation. Amusement should be used to do us good "like a medicine": it must never be used as the food of the man. From early morning till late at night some spend their time in a round of frivolities, or else their very work is simply carried on to furnish them funds for their pleasures. This is vicious. Many have had all holy thoughts and gracious resolutions stamped out by perpetual trifling. Pleasure so called is the murderer of thought. This is the age of excessive amusement: everybody craves for it, like a babe for its rattle.
(Colossians 1:10): so asto walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Have we placed ourselves at His feet today to be graced up maintaining our indefatigable love for Christ's will over our own? I pray it to be so! :) God Bless you all! May we all practice His presence daily and in all ways.
As I start my Day I am reminded of the fact that God's grace turns us out with a strong family likeness to Jesus Christ; and that God never tells us what He is going to do. He reveals who He is. May God richly Bless us with reality today. The reality of Jesus Christ in all its glorious details! And may He Grace you up to fit His will perfectly for your life in cooperation with Him according to His will.
Ok, I must confess something LOLOKGal - the real reason why you love the Dr. Peppers I've been serving you is because they are well-springs from Jesus Himself. Ain't no hydration like the Dr. Jesus! So, change the label to Dr. Jesus, as it should have been properly labelled that way in the first place, and I will drink them with you often.... LOL. Come on over anytime, Jesus is always up for where two or more are gathered! Amen! .... He is the best!
Reflections on your reflections LOL :"You also be ready....." (Luke 12:40). Our greatest need is a readiness to face Jesus Christ at any and every turn. This is not easy, no matter what our experience has been. This battle is not against sin, difficulties, or circumstances, but being so absorbed in our service to Jesus Christ that we are not ready to face Jesus Himself at every turn. The greatest need is not facing our beliefs or doctrines, or even facing the question of whether or not we are of any use to Him, but the need to face Him. If we do face Him - we will be ready to face anyone and anything at anytime.
Treat others with kindness. I was less than welcoming to a fellow peep who popped into a thread. I thought it funny to be a bit cheeky with him in response to his careless demeanour, but upon my reflection, I realise that he may have been searching for help. I'm going to PM him to offer my support. Thanks for helping me to see the light, dear one. God bless you... Pure Sugar
Hebrews 13:2 "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
When we pray, we must remember three things. We must remember the love of God, which always desires only what is best for us. We must remember the wisdom of God, which alone knows what is best for us. We must remember the power of God, which alone can bring to pass that which is best for us. He who prays with a perfect trust in the love, wisdom and power of God will find God's peace.
The result of believing prayer is that the peace of God will stand like a sentinel on guard upon our hearts. The word that Paul uses is the military word for standing on guard. That peace of God, says Paul, passes all understanding. That does not mean that the peace of God is such a mystery that man's mind cannot understand it, although that also is true. It means that the peace of God is so precious that man's mind can never produce it. It can never be of man's contriving; it is only of God's giving. The way to peace is in prayer to entrust ourselves and all whom we hold dear to the loving hands of God.
Living for Him is the most satisfying state of being that we could ever hope to achieve. It's not always easy, but the rewards are huge and the complete and utter peace and contentment that you feel from living this way, cannot even be described with words...
Phil 4:7 "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Glory to our King HALLELUJAH!
Amen and Amen! ... "....according to the power that WORKS IN US!....." We LIVE, therefore, beyond ourselves and for His glory; yet we do not live beyond ourselves as we mature into holiness; for we live to His standard successfully - which is in us to live according to His good pleasure and will in Christ Jesus! ... Amen and Amen! = Our Transformation!
