Just read the clean and unclean article and I remember a few years ago I realized that one of the things that unclean had in common was a) they were scavengers and b) they ate meat. I agree with the rest of your article. I believe some of the other things such as horses, dogs and even pigs may have been because of their intelligence. But as a Jewish person once pointed out to me, we don't ask why God we just obey. -
