my country is also blessed with food. It really is the land of milk and honey.
Though I prefer blue milk or even silver (with the cream on top) but you can't get that kind of milk anymore in the glass bottles, unless you timewarp back to the 80s.
Honey I like Manuka, even though people charge outrageous prices for it. UMF levels are just something the industry made up however. The honey has to be somewhat runny and gooey, not hard and crusty. And you should only use a wooden spoon with honey.
I guess I am picky about food, but also the packaging it comes in. For example, peanut butter and jam has to be in glass jars. I can't stand plastic jars.
Peanut butter needs to be unsalted, and a little crunchy, but not too crunchy.
Jam needs to be jam and not spread or jelly. Strawbetty or raspberry is fine.
Butter needs to be pure butter, not mixed with any canola oil. It should come in wax paper.
Eggs need to be free-range and the yolks bright yellow, even orange. Preferably fresh from the hen.
As for Harry meeting Sally, I thought the line was 'I'll have what she's having'. BTW wasn't Sally played by Sally Field? Or was it Meg Ryan? I am getting my 80s movies mixed up. For example. the Breakfast Club was not about breakfast. I was so disappointed, even though it was set in a library.
