As you are aware all sin can be forgiven in the eyes of God. None of Kid Rock's lyrics or Eminem for that matter were meant to be literal. They were young they were angering a lot of the conservative powers that be and just thought it enjoyable to kind of poke the bear. When I watched his performance as an old Kid Rock fan from back in the 2000s, I was filled with so much pride. At his growth not only as a musician but as a person.
If you didn't actually see it he came on with one of his old songs Bawitdaba, didn't change any of the lyrics and then they had a interlude that was beautiful violin and cello. Prior to his initial performance some man came out and said they wanted to introduce their buddy Kid Rock.
At this point after the musical interlude they came back and said Now we want to introduce our good friend Bob Richie. And that's when he played one of his more country gospel songs and then he played an absolutely beautiful song that he wrote for Charlie Kirk called till You can't. If you didn't get to hear it listen to it. If you didn't get to see it watch it.
Honestly? I think it's beautiful. My heart swelled with pride I mean if the Lord can change Kid Rock he can pretty much change anybody right?
Let's remember it's not on us to judge.
