I have been trying to do violin business, it ended in huge losses. I have tried yarn business, it failed without so much as one page view. I am now trying to service flutes, but I barley get any page views and nothing will sell. The competition is selling, flutes, yarn and violins all around me and make huge profits, but I am getting only losses. What is the problem, why am I have so much tribulation? I can only think that I have been cursed, that evil spirits are at work against me.

I cannot get my bills paid because I am only losing money, and not earning anything.
 
I'm so sorry 😞 I wish I knew how to help u . I don't imagine that I am able to suggest anything to u that u wouldn't have already thought of . The business ideas that u have thought of all seem like good ideas , maybe u need to do more than one thing at a time , have lots of different things going at the same time ? That sounds like hard work but , it might work ? I dont know anything about running a business , on line or off it I'm sorry to say 😞 .
All I can do is promise that I shall pray for u , that u r able to sort your finances and get a decent income ❤️ . Please don't give up or get downhearted , God sees u and knows how hard u r trying . Be patient , say your prayers to Him and thank Him for what u do have , read your Bible every day and b patient . Wait on the LORD . I do hope with all my heart that u r able to get on your feet soon , don't give up brother ❤️ .

@Suze I think working on many things at one time is good idea. I have been trying to focus on one or the other. But like the flute business for example, there is plenty of down time waiting for the flute arrive or sell. During that time I could be making music and also spinning fibre.

I just been stressed out about the money, I just want things to happen for money to flow in. I was learning about ebay sales, and often the sale don't come for 1 whole month. Unless it some item, it could take 12 months. I want faster results, because I have to get things moving. But it don't move any faster than it does.

This is something that has been messing me up, is I am not patient enough with it. I want the sales to happen so I can keep going.

At least , if u have a few things going at once u might get a steady income ? It might b hard work trying to balance everything though , I hope it wouldn't stress u out . I prayed for u last night and I will do so today also ❤️ .

What if I tried playing music. Do you think it's possible to earn money from playing music. If I can make it sound decent enough and have lyrics that are appealing, without promoting sin of course.

I have been struggling looking at the laws and regulations over SSDI. I cannot earn any money without having a consequence of some kind for doing so. This is making me give up, the only thing available for me to do each day is, 'play'.

I'm not familiar with the laws regarding SSDI and I live on the UK . Please look into it very carefully , u don't want to get into trouble with your government . How about going around the thrift shops and buying things , then selling those things on the internet for a bit more than u paid for them , would that b allowed ? I have found lots of things in charity shops that r worth more money than the shop was charging for them .

We don't have those shops around here. The shops we do have charge more than eBay.

After your post I started reading about it on google. I thought that they would take $0.5 for every $1.00 I earned from my SSDI. But I was wrong, that 1 for 2 rule is for SSI, not SSDI. On SSDI I can earn $1210 and less without any reduction from my SSDI check. Because I had looked at the SSI rules, I thought the government would take 80% of my earnings. That's 50% + 30% estimated tax.

Now that I know that, I know I can earn money from flipping things like musical instruments, and keep my earned income from it. That's what I want to work on, are musical instruments.
 
You said something about the shops, I wonder if I can find a violin or flute at the goodwill here in town. I might go there and see next month.
 
I now have motivation to try spinning up the yarn, because I know I only will be paying estimated tax on it.

Have you thought about offering music lessons?
 
I am far from a professional player to teach the music. Because I myself do not even know proper technique. But I do know there is money in the music industry, as a small gig performer. Teaching, writing music, playing music for people. Weddings, birthdays, and also youtube.
 
@Suze I just wanted to say that after I learned the difference in the rules for SSI and SSDI, I felt so much better. A huge burden was taken from me and I felt really good from it.

Yes. Work for someone so you can pay your bills.

Then if you want to do your own thing on the side you will still have steady income from your job.

Maybe the music business isn't for you at this time.

What else do you love to do?
