That does not mean that the term 'illegals" is accurate, I do understand that loaded terms are the preference, one can derive some sense of power from it, probably has some dopamine release effect as well.

well, let's see.

so, if someone comes into the country in a place other than a legal entry point, they have violated the law of the land, and are not here on a legal standing.

therefore, they are illegal.

what is the problem with that???

Illegal what, an illegal human being.

so, if we called them trespassers, would that be better???

and, if that answer is yes, then how do you reconcile that trespassing is an arrestable crime???

Well that makes more sense than "illegals"
I have already stated it is a misdemeanor on the first offense, however, if you are going to talk about legal things then use legal language.
You know like when you talk about mathematics one uses math language, like coefficients, variables etc.,
Anyone moving on.

Illegal isn't accurate, then what is? Seriously. Criminal, broken the law.

How about nation challenged?

Hilarious! I don't understand why people try so hard not to offend illegal immigrants. smh Unwanted guests. You came here illegally, you broke the law, time to go. Not that hard. Reminds me of my grandfather when he wanted a guest to go home who had overstayed their welcome. He would yawn and say to my grandmother " Come on, let's go to bed, someone wants to go home."

I would have kicked back on the couch and said "ya'll sleep tight... where's the remote? laughing.gif

If he wants me to go home he should be a big boy and say that directly.

Native Americans are being detained by ICE

Well, they do have Reservations! thumbsup2.gif

ICE will deport them back to their reservation ya know

Oh I am sure you have spent hours sifting through all the case law on the topic.

And btw ..... people can commit illegal acts it does not make them illegals, just cause DT administration butchers the language on a daily basis does not mean will all have to.

Reentry after deportation is a felony
But hey, who cares about details and the law when you we have people at the podium spewing nonsense.
Can’t believe you are still bashing America, while your country is literally one of the most satanic in the world!

I'd say that was as direct as saying "get out". These were guests, not people off the street. As far as being a "big boy" my grandfather had a third grade education. His father died and he was needed at home. With that education he was a fisherman, did logging work, and built his own home and boats. He also built other homes in the town he lived in and was called in many places nearby to do special work that "educated" carpenters couldn't do. He raised five kids, all of them grew to be successful adults, more importantly all were born again but for one, he came to the Lord before he passed. He was no boy, that's for certain.

Here let me help you, rather that just parroting Leavitt, "illlegals" is a noun invented by journalists, the laws do not define people as illegals  — they define actions or statuses as unlawful.

The legal term is "alien."

Improper entry is the other correct term.
But of course we get people's emotions all jacked up.. we need loaded terms like illegals. My goodness, so obvious.
thanks that is very helpful, so the "illegal aliens" are actually aliens who have acted unlawfully from the moment they entered the country. Thanks. They are guilty of trespassing and ICE is simply the bouncer removing the trespasser from the country.

people don't seem to understand the point and purpose of a border and laws about how to enter a country..

i have crossed the border probably more than 300 times, born and raised in border town, many of my University friends worked for immigration in the summer.

I think I know the point.

You are welcome, that is correct the legal term is illegal aliens not illegals.

Meh, not really. Saying "let's go to bed, someone wants to go home" contains no direct call to action for the guest.

If there are more than one guest it leaves the question as to which guest wants to go home while the other guest kicks back on the couch with the remote planning raiding the refrigerator later when they get the munchies wanting to know where to drop their laundry.

He was no boy, that's for certain.

It's a figure of speech bud.

The old folks I knew when I was a kids would just say "time for you to leave now, I'm going to bed" which is direct and expresses exactly what they want the guest to do

Normal people understand, but the liberals are lawless and must be forced to see the error of their ways when they refuse to obey the law meaning they need to spend a few years in the penitentiary. They are a bunch of baby killers anyway so liberals are very slow and ignorant.

So far I don't think Trump and them are doing a very good job at holding people responsible for obstructing ICE and other federal law enforcement as they work to enforce the immigration laws passed by duly elected members of Congress under the authority of the US Con situation

Concerning the Jan 6 riots the liberals were right as the rioters were violently interfering with official government business and should be thrown in prison.

Now the liberals are the ones interfering with official government business and should be thrown in federal prison.
