Nice to see you again Mem.
I agree with your thoughts. What a better way to stay concealed than being inside the earth.

It's that time of his revelation that I'm attempting to work towards. I'm seeing distinct signs that God told us to watch for. Do you think we're supposed to talk about it? Almost all the called out ones won't see it coming.

They won't see it coming because they won't talk about obvious things happening right in front of them. These obvious things are hurdles in this discussion, and i won't drag others over them.

If you are hesitant to put forth your view, then would be able to see it coming?

Thanks for replying back mem, I know I lost your trust when we were discussing faith. Thats happened to me 100's of times and it never feels good. It always hurts a little more when you know that person has a good heart.

This isn't the greatest thread to make a new start, but I'm glad for another chance.

This view on what satan is up to isn't something I've tried to communicate before. I have all the necessary pieces to have a good understanding about this.

I've started this at an acceptable place, Job 1:7. We know satan is everywhere on the earth, but i do think when the Hebrew says he going to and from "in" the earth, that's exactly what it means.

I really don't know how far I'm going to go with this. The response to satan actually being "in" the earth didn't seem to acceptable to the members who replied so far. That will be the easiest pill to swallow. I've put alot of time and energy keeping an eye on certain things, things that arn't easily communicated.

So maybe the best way forward if your willing, is to just ask the members a question.

Do we think it's priority of satan to stop Jesus from returning?
Do we think satan has been formulating a plan to accomplish this?

Scripture says that he knows that his time is short so, personally, I don't think that is among any of his ambitions.

OK, ya I can see your perspective. I would have had that same perspective, but the evidence I've encountered begs to ask those question.

You've been presented evidence, which indeed obligates you to weigh it. Have you considered all possible sources of it and the possible bias that might accompany it?

Yes, my sources are solid, along with that gift of discernment.

With you thinking Jesus will not encounter any resistance when He returns , I'll have to find another way to proceed.

I've been thinking about these things for a while, does anyone even consider such questions or possibilities?

Were talking about deception at the highest levels. And of course none of us are completely immune.

But if I'm correct, most of the church world will be supporting a full on attack on Jesus when He returns.

Is that worth a conversation, or should we just let it go?

Since you seem to be the only one interested in this, would you consider PMing me?

I believe satan is a created being and, therefore, can only be in one place at one time. However, satan has his minions who follow him and this is why we see evidence of satan on every continent and in every society.

satan's lies are exposed through the light of God's Word and God's Word believed results in the blessing God promises.

the only thing that overcomes the influence of satan is the truth of God's Word. When the Lord Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil, it is written worked for Him. The Lord Jesus Christ showed us how to overcome Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

satan has no power to stop the Lord Jesus Christ from returning ... and he knows it.

however, satan has made it his priority to conceal the truth of the redemption found only in the Lord Jesus Christ ... as well as the return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory.

Some who are born again sleep through life because they know they're going to be with Jesus in new heaven/new earth ... this suits satan just fine. satan goes after the ones who preach the gospel, teachers who encourage others to look to the Lord Jesus Christ, to be strong in Him, and preach so that others may know Him.

2 Timothy 4:1-5

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

no God is allowing satan to put in place that which is revealed concerning end times.

satan knows his end in the lake of fire and because he has absolutely no power over God, his aim is to exercise as much power over God's creation as he can (i.e. as God allows).

satan hates God and even as we know we can never comprehend the vastness of God's overabounding love, the same holds true concerning the hatred of satan ... it is beyond comprehension ... and I believe it is God's grace which conceals from us the depth of the hatred of satan.

Thanks for the reply.

You never said if you think he's in the earth as Job. 1:7 indicated.

I'm with you on your statements, except 1.
Satan knew he couldn't tempt Jesus, but he still tried. He knows he going to loose, but he's still putting up a fight.

we only know what God reveals in His Word concerning this issue. satan roves about the earth. my understanding is that Adam and Eve were initially to have dominion ... but through the original fall of mankind, dominion was handed over to satan.

God told Noah And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered (Gen 9:2). While this is not the same as the dominion afforded to mankind in Gen 1, God still maintained a priority for all He created.

I do not believe satan knew the Lord Jesus Christ would be victorious ... which is why he tried to tempt Him. Perhaps satan thought the Lord Jesus Christ could be enticed as Adam and Eve had been.

at this point in time, satan knows he is defeated. His whole aim is to steal, kill, destroy whoever and whatever of God's creation he can. However, satan does not have free reign. satan is restricted by God.

In Job 1, satan was restricted from attacking Job's person. in Job's situation, God (unbeknownst to Job) was preparing Job for satan's next attack. In Job 2, God gave satan access to Job physically, but satan was restrained from taking Job's life.

I'm curious,
I like your Nik, Reneweddaybyday.

Do you do anything to renew yourself day by day?

And also, what do you think.
If we see a deception being planned, organized by satan against the called of God, and especially Jesus Himself, should we sound an alarm? Or should we just keep our eyes on Him, continue to surrender ourselves to Him daily, and ignore it.

it's from 2 Cor 4:16 ... For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

the whole chapter is a must know, but this verse reminds me of the record of the children of Israel wandering in the desert for 40 years and each day God provided manna from heaven ... enough manna for the day.

Each day we wake up with God having fully equipped us with everything we need for today. God renews us day by day. We are not to look back on what was yesterday, nor look forward to what will be tomorrow. We have all we need for today ... and I am speaking of spiritual provision as well as physical ... and we are to be good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Watchman22 said:

well, God is the One Who renews us. As we keep close to Him, He holds us close to Him ... and sometimes holding close to Him is a moment by moment decision depending on what is going on. We are exhorted to worship God ... keep close to Him ... pray ... study ... rightly divide His Word ... commune with Him and fellow believers ... speak God's Word to others.

I talk about stuff I see going on ... just mention it and see where the conversation goes. If folks are interested, some good information can be put out there in public. Ignoring the issue is what has gone on in the past. kind of a live and let live attitude ... or you do your thing and let me do mine ... now look where we are. God is no longer prominent in the public square and satan no longer hides behind closed doors.
