This question depends on what one means by "being saved". The term "salvation" comes from a root meaning "to heal", and healing usually takes time. Paul refers to being saved in three different tenses, past, present and future, that is you are saved, you are being saved and you will be saved, or in context of healing, the healing treatment has started, you are being healed, and when the treatment is done you will be fully healed. Just where an individual is in the process is known to God, but unlikely known to anyone else.

Great question!

The Apostles were saved after Jesus’ resurrection when He appeared to them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit” and breathed on them and then opened their understanding of the scriptures and taught them from Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms.

Reference Luke 24 and John 20

When Jesus sent the disciples out, He told them to preach the Kingdom of God, NOT salvation. They were to cast out demons, heal the sick, etc. They were not preaching salvation.

The disciples thought Jesus was going to establish and restore the Kingdom of David in Jerusalem and kick out the Romans… they did not understand the gift of Salvation yet.

No, Judas is NOT proof that one can lose their salvation because Judas never received the Gift of Salvation because Salvation wasn’t given until after Jesus’ resurrection.

Even Peter denied Jesus 3 times yet, Peter received the Gift of Salvation AFTER Jesus’ resurrection.

————————-
The Lord knows who is saved and who isn’t. Whoever the Father puts in Jesus Christ’s Hand is saved and can NEVER be plucked out of His Hand.

All, except Thomas were saved then, according your understanding.

When exactly were the 12 apostles saved? Were they already saved when Jesus chose them? Can we say that Judas is a fake Christian but why did Jesus give him authority to cast out demons and to preach? Judas went to betray Jesus. In this case, isn't it proof that one can lose one's salvation?
Pentecost, 50 days after the resurrection, 10 days after the ascension.

Judas was never saved. Jesus says he did not believe (Jn 6:64), calls him A DEVIL (Jn 6:70), identifies him as NOT CLEAN (Jn 13:10–11) & names him THE SON of PERDITION (Jn 17:12).

Judas receiving authority to preach & cast out demons (Matt 10:1–8) simply proves that ministry power is not salvation. False prophets cast out demons in (Matt 7:22–23) yet were never known by Christ.

Judas did not lose salvation, he never possessed it. His life shows that proximity to Jesus & participation in ministry do not equal regeneration.
Judas is the first socialist!

If all these people received salvation BEFORE Jesus Christ rose from the dead, then why did Jesus Christ have to die?
To purchase their salvation. (God must be just when He justifies the unjust, Rom. 3:26.)
You answer your own question below:
Makes me ponder… the Lamb of God was slained BEFORE the foundation of the world…
Yes, Rev. 13:8.
Also - Who verily was [foreknown] before the foundation of the world, but was [made known] in these last times for you 1 Peter 1:20
Yet, at the appointed time, Jesus Christ as the Lamb manifested and was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead in a new eternal physical body…
Exactly. ... when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son ... Gal 4:4

The death The Whole time was seen by Father to happen once for all, before it ever happened. Genesis 3:15-16, the first prediction of Son, still not understood or known how yet.
God foresaw all as good, before the fall, that God saw would happen. Ready for when it happened, the cross, more so in the resurrection, where new life for anyone in belief to Father and Son receives the gift and sees new in God's Spirit and Truth of love and mercy to all.

We the people cannot see the future, only try to predict it accordingly as we do it is going to rain tomorrow. The Major corporations do this for sales here on earth to make money.
I stopped, ceded and said to God, I see to rest right now in the present, I am given by you, thank you. rejoice today, even in troubles happening, God loves us all, proven in Son. that Was not known before it happened. Not even the disciples knew. or the Patriarchs before Hebrews 11. They could only stand in what had gotten revealed to them. Today Son risen all forgiven by Father through Son, we are reconciled 2 Cor 5:16-20. Now new life in Father's Spirit and Truth is ready to be given to all that choose God to stand in Col 1:21-23. God loves us all. Yet God gives everyone the free choice to believe and stand in that or not. being like a wave in the sea, in and out.
James speaks of.

The disciples had trouble even after seeing Jesus raised from the dead. The first born flesh to this day, still has troubles also trying to predict and know more than others. I quit that once realizing God has it all and is best to trust God alone for me. Hebrews 4:9-13

Those prior to Christ. God gave them Faith in what he said to them he would do, reveal the Messiah. they only could do as knew to do. God saved and God did not, why? God knows, we do not. yet we see Moses and Elijah saved. before the death, burial and resurrection of Son for us all. Trusting God to have helped in your walk of love and mercy to all also.

Now see Jesus when here went on a Mountain and was seen transfigured by Peter and John. Seeing Moses there. Jesus also forgave people before the cross. stand up and walk. As he said to the religious leaders there then. What is easier to say, "Stand up and walk, or your sins are forgiven?

And God can do anything God decides. As God knows best for all. Do you trust God or do you want to make a choice as if you know better than God?
Me I quit the self, I am not God, I trust God and do not know all as God does. Phil 3:1-20
Jeremiah 29:11
