A Navy ship was sent to alleviate pressure on overburden hospitals. Not to take in critically sick old people where they were better off staying in their rooms in nursing homes.

I do not think you know what is a "bed". It is not a cot like a WWII movie. It is a hospital bed with not only equipment but enough staff. Staff are people who lives and limitations. If you need 1500 nurses in a hospital that runs on 1000, where do they come from? "I know, just hire some more!"

It is a good thing they did not. i worked in a hospital and while this was considered outside a religious objection, it was made fully optional before being implemented because suddenly people got religious. Meanwhile, the still require a yearly flu shot but if you had a real medical you can pass.

Hmm. Not what some of the nurses told me when I had my last 3 babies (between 2020-2025). Said the hospital was struggling because so many nurses were forced to quit because of the jab. Our hospitals are still struggling, from what I've heard, because so many nurses were affected by the ultimatum. There hasn't been the recovery in hiring that they hoped for.

Same with many in the military (some I personally know) that were dishonorable discharged because they refused to take part in that experiment.

Anyway, if the only way for those who stayed to protect themselves from a forced jab was to claim a sudden religious leaning, I dont blame them at all.

No, that is not the reason. Many quit due to burn out from COVID. I quit four time because I kept getting paid more in my next place and getting more varied experiences.

Nurses were also getting to travel, fly, be put up and paid insane amounts. You also can picked your assignment and generally a thirteen, 26, or 39 week stint. You can take the summer off, half a year or just do a quarter.

I believe they may have told you there were shortage in staff. Later on your imagine starts to thinks - oh, the COVID vaccine must be it! I really doubt it on three separate occasions they told you they were short staff and oh, vaccine mandate did it.

They saw so many religious exceptions from the very same who get flu shots every year they did not want to bother wtih it.
There are a few things - quit their job to take advantage and used that as an excuse to their friends that for leaving.

Those in healthcare deserved to be fired because they are health care workers talking like idiots and being selfish. Why not light up in the patients' rooms. The military who were against those that are cowards.
