I guess you forgot, I told you I'm done debating with you.

You believe when we get the spirit it gets rid of our sins.

You can't prove it so how can anyone have any kind of debate with someone who says something and will not back it up what they say?

And when I show you how sins are remitted you will not accept HIS word and just DEFLECT!!

Best of luck with your thinking, your still talking so there is hope.

If you can tell me at how sins are remitted in Acts 2:38 and 22:16 we can move on and debate some more.

Who said I was debating? I was sharing the scriptures like you do. Not that you pay any attention to them.

I have told you many times already. We are baptized into Christ where our sins are remitted by His blood. You don't believe that like you don't believe other Christian doctrines.

Not my problem. You have been told the truth.

I notice you are changing your wording.

When you say this, show me it in scripture!!

"We are baptized into Christ where our sins are remitted by His blood"

Don't just tell me it's true, Prove it's true.

please tell me you understand the difference between being saved by faith alone and having faith alone.
Jesus Christ saves us through faith based on the merits of His finished work of redemption "alone" and not based on the merits of our works. (Romans 3:24-28; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9) ✝️

It is through faith "in Jesus Christ alone" (and not based on the merits of our works) that we are justified on account of Christ (Romans 4:5-6; 5:1; 5:9); yet the faith that justifies does not remain alone (unfruitful, barren) if it is genuine. (James 2:14-24)

Do you have any idea why JESUS would tell HIS disciples this?

Matthew 28:19
King James Version
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Unless that person were not saved to begin with.
There are genuine Christians, and there are "nominal" Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers, and it's not hard to find them mixed together throughout scripture, in various churches today and on various Christian forum sites.

Answering a question with a question?
It was a rhetorical question. Your answer is NO. In Matthew 28:19, we have here a command from Jesus to go and make disciples of all nations, and baptize converts. Jesus shifted from focusing only on Israel to spreading his teachings worldwide.

LOL, so you know all about me?

Why would you say I would have said no?

My answer would have been yes, but I asked first and wanted you to anwer the quesion I asked first.

Long time ago going to a baptist church I follow the pastors lead, he was the pastor right!! So he had to know what he was talking about right?

Nope later in life, I saw that "IN THE NAME OF" ment we were suppose to be bapitzed is JESUS name and was baptized again the way HIS word says.

Matthew 28:19
King James Version

Converts? where does that come from?

It does not say baptize converts at all, why would you say that?

Why would JESUS tell HIS DISIPLES to go and baptize people?

Helpful article for you. 👀

Must baptism be “in Jesus’ name”? - CARM https://share.google/wvBtuCerKRdTUiSwS

According to Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry "The proper way to baptize in Jesus’ name is to say, “I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

So FOLLOW THEM!!!!

Maybe you should ask them to show you where anyone was baptized that way????

I will give you all I own if you can!!

You could make the same bet with them!!!

THIS IS OUT OF JESUS MOUTH SINCE HE IS THE WORD!!

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16
King James Version
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

YOU PICK!!! JESUS or Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry?

Which one will be judging you after you die?

You previously said that you attend the FAC Pentecostal church. My research on the "First Apostolic Pentecostal church" concludes that they teach a "Oneness" doctrine, emphasizing a single God manifested as Jesus Christ, (non-Trinitarian) and requires water baptism in Jesus' name (only valid formula) and baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues as necessary for salvation.

Do you confirm or deny?

Why would I denier it, IT'S ALL BIBLE.

Matter of fact I'm proud to be a JESUS follower.

I pick Jesus and Christian Apologetics Research Ministry agrees with Jesus. You agree with false doctrine.

Morning,

Yes, I will never believe just faith alone gets you saved.

If I agree to disagree that is saying both of us may be right but can't prove it or one of us is to stuborant to admit they are wrong.

I don't what your blood on my hands, so I want it to be clear the way you think you can't back it up with HIS word.

JESUS said we have to be born of water and of spirit to enter.

You say we don't.

Don't be concerned with bible I read, do be concerned that in all of them you can't get away from we have to be born of water and of spirit!!!

Can you tell me why JESUS who had ALL POWER, told HIS disciples this?

Matthew 28,
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Why did JESUS tell HIS disciples to baptize and to observe ALL thingshe has commented THEM to do?

Did you notice JESUS also told them that HE would always be with them?

Are you a JESUS disciple?
When you baptize someone, do you baptize in Jesus’ name or the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

You know ouch...
this is the oddest thread I've ever been on.
For instance, your above post is most confusing to me.

So, let's clarify please.

I'm going to assume (yeah) that you know what IN THE NAME OF means.

So let's move on:

Analogy (I hate analogies)

Someone comes to your church.
YOU are the pastor.
It's an adult believer and he wants to baptized.
You dunk him in a tub of water....
And you say....
I baptize you in the name of_________________________________________________

Please fill in.
Thanks.

Are you asking me do I believe there is only ONE GOD? yes, why wouldnt I?

The only way to be baptized is in JESUS name? yes, why wouldnt I?

Does JESUS have to fill us with HIS spirit to be saved? yes, why wouldnt I?

Do you need scripture to back it up?

What does any of that have to do with the Pentecost church???

Follow who you like,

Did you take my bet??
