Who said I was debating? I was sharing the scriptures like you do. Not that you pay any attention to them.

I have told you many times already. We are baptized into Christ where our sins are remitted by His blood. You don't believe that like you don't believe other Christian doctrines.

When you say this, show me it in scripture!!

Jesus Christ saves us through faith based on the merits of His finished work of redemption "alone" and not based on the merits of our works. (Romans 3:24-28; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9) ✝️

It is through faith "in Jesus Christ alone" (and not based on the merits of our works) that we are justified on account of Christ (Romans 4:5-6; 5:1; 5:9); yet the faith that justifies does not remain alone (unfruitful, barren) if it is genuine. (James 2:14-24)

There are genuine Christians, and there are "nominal" Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers, and it's not hard to find them mixed together throughout scripture, in various churches today and on various Christian forum sites.

It was a rhetorical question. Your answer is NO. In Matthew 28:19, we have here a command from Jesus to go and make disciples of all nations, and baptize converts. Jesus shifted from focusing only on Israel to spreading his teachings worldwide.

Long time ago going to a baptist church I follow the pastors lead, he was the pastor right!! So he had to know what he was talking about right?

Nope later in life, I saw that "IN THE NAME OF" ment we were suppose to be bapitzed is JESUS name and was baptized again the way HIS word says.

I'm going to assume (yeah) that you know what IN THE NAME OF means.

So let's move on:

Analogy (I hate analogies)

Someone comes to your church.
YOU are the pastor.
It's an adult believer and he wants to baptized.
You dunk him in a tub of water....
And you say....
I baptize you in the name of_________________________________________________

Are you asking me do I believe there is only ONE GOD? yes, why wouldnt I?

The only way to be baptized is in JESUS name? yes, why wouldnt I?

Does JESUS have to fill us with HIS spirit to be saved? yes, why wouldnt I?

Do you need scripture to back it up?

What does any of that have to do with the Pentecost church???
