The whole Bible is my favorite Book -----cause

The Old Testament is Jesus Concealed --(Prophecy )---The New Testament is Jesus Revealed -----

All the Books of the Bible are about Jesus---- First ---the coming of Jesus in the flesh ------The Second Jesus here with us in the flesh -----

So reading every Book gives me the whole Picture of what God's plan was before He created this earth and His plan that He is still carrying out for this earth which is in the future -----

I adore the book of Isaiah ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ every time I read it it calms me , comforts me , cheers me up beyond measure , love love love it and reading it at the moment .

For me Sis the entire Bible. I see it as a gigantic love letter to all people from God
When I read of the fall in Genesis
The first thing I noticed God did not kill Adam and or Eve.

Yet as God said death would be
And death has been to us all ever since, death of the flesh. But now in risen Son our Soul gets saved by God. Yet flesh still is dead. yet by God and Son I am alive as in Acts 17:28, Gal 2:20 and I can hear truth over any error here in this world by God teaching me new 1John 2:27 and everyone else too that sincerely beleive God know this truth and are resting, no more resisting

Job, and Ecclesiastes. Job is the first book in the Bible I read all the way through. Ecclesiastes is the second.

I like the book of Daniel, and Isaiah, and John.

As important as the New Testament is because of spiritual salvation the Old Testament seems like a more interesting read.

Because it is more like a story learning about God and His ways, and history, and the adventures of Israel, and other nations, and the kings and things.

Where the New Testament focuses on our salvation.

Where 2 or 3 witnesses agree let everything be established.

The Old Testament is important because it tells us of the New Testament as a witness to the New Testament.

If there was no Old Testament how many people would believe the New Testament.

There would be no witness to the New Testament.

And no learning of God and His ways that are in detail.

No learning of history with God telling us of the history and kingdoms before they came up.

And telling us the end from the beginning.

Which God said He identifies Himself as the one true God because of that.

And said no man or other religion can do that.

Proving the Old Testament to be true.

Making it easier to accept the New Testament.

The Old Testament proves to us God exists, and a Savior is to come, and Him putting the world down and ending sin.

The New Testament tells us of salvation.

Which is not much to tell for the Old Testament told us.

And not much to know but Jesus is Lord and Savior, believe on the Gospel, and allow the Spirit to lead you to be Christlike, and spread the good news.

You do not have to know about the antichrist.

You do not have to know about the book of Revelation.

Because any person that goes against that you will reject.

Of course those things will push some to believe.

And we use those things to reach the lost telling the lost to get with God to escape the wrath to come.

But more than likely we will use the Old Testament to prove that and Revelation.

Isaiah is one of my favorites too.
It has so many messianic prophecies. The Lord is quoted throughout. There are so many quotables. From just a literary viewpoint, it's better than any quotable movie.

I'm also very fond of Genesis.
It has history, prophecy, stories, definitions of terms, the gospel.

My favorite New Testament book is the gospel of John.
It's an interesting read that describes Jesus' Deity, and is unique in that it's written to the World so that they can believe in Him and be saved. Chapter 20

My Lord and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

I love the Old Testament so much , if we regularly read both Old and New , we will c that the Old is a foreshadow of the New . There r so many deep connections between them ❤️

Gotta have the creation/Genesis and resurrection/Matthew, but my study Bible's most soiled pages are Ephesians. :geek:
