Hey Everyone,

We're going to hold the first official Forum Friends Jingle live chat this Friday, January 2!

It will be *Starting at 5 PM Central* which is 6 PM Eastern; 4 PM Mountain; and 3 PM on the West Coast. If you're in a different time zone, you can look up your area's coordinating time on Google.

The link for the live chat is at the top of the CC home page (or hopefully this copy of the link will work.)

Once logged in, just look for a room called "Forum Friends Jingle" (or something close to that.)

Come on in and join the fun!

Lynx is going to open the room and I'll be there, but possibly not until a little later -- maybe 5:30 or 6. I'll be there about an hour but maybe longer depending on my schedule; Lynx said he can stay longer if people want to continue chatting.

I'll announce it in this thread when when I get there, so if you have problems, post your questions in this thread and we'll try to help!

We're looking forward to seeing whoever can stop by! :)

Well... The room does stay open for 24 hours after the last person leaves. You could host another meeting at a more convenient time for you.

Likely won't get many people from the Americas, but some European folks might like your meeting time a lot better than ours. ;)

Hmm, I think you said 5 PM (Lynx's time) is 11 PM your time...

So even if I was there at 5 AM my time, that would still be something like 1 PM your time.

I know the time differences are usually the biggest hurdle to work out. Here in the USA, people are generally busiest around 6 AM to 6 PM Monday - Friday, as that's when most of work and school, and most still have family and other duties that take up the rest of the day.

I sometimes have nights where I'll wake up at 3 AM and can't get back to sleep, but that sounds like it would be around 12 noon your time, and you're probably busy then...

All we can really do is just see how it goes and then see what/if we can adjust as we go along. :)

Edith, is there a time on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays that are good for you?

If you can list the day and time (you don't have to give out your location -- use the time of a big city or country near you that runs on the same time) and we'll see if we can work around you. 💖

We can still do it Friday or Saturday at about 3pm your time which will be 9 pm my time.
Or same time Sunday 3pm when everyone is back
