Thanks Solitude. The verse that comes to mind is:

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. "

The term 'indeed' is worth noting since it indicates that something is done in reality, not fake.

The same term 'indeed' is used by Jesus for Nathaniel:

"Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! "

Here, Jesus is letting us in on the term 'Israelite', and how it means a saved person in its truest sense. If you are saved, then you are an Israelite in the truest since. That means the son has set you free indeed. By using the term 'indeed' for Nathaniel Jesus contrasts those who call themselves Israelites but are not Israelites in the truest sense, from those who are saved indeed, the true Israelites. All who are saved are Israelites indeed.

The more tricky question might be to define the word "free" in terms of salvation, since a number of ways could be used to describe it. Certainly, free from the stain of sin would be one part. But free to love God and others is also part, and so forth.

The first resurrection is the resurrection of the body. Being born from above of the spirit is not a resurrection

The first resurrection is the Better as it is to spirit the 2nd resurrection is back to flesh and blood and breathing air,

But it is fact no one lives forever in human bodies, If that were so -- count me out.
