Shalom friends in Jesus Christ.

My name is Brian and my rebirth took place 15 years ago. I can still vividly recall the early, cold winter morning, walking alone threw silent city streets. Praise to our Lord.

I learned that my personal testimony is quite relatable to so many but know it is not the Gospel about Jesus Christ (the only Gospel we need to proclaim), however I feel the need to share this personal detail with you. 2 years ago (almost to the date) I suffered a stroke that left me hospitalized for some months with dim changes of full recovery. As result I lost all material earthly possessions but saw this powerful truth "Everyday as you wake, God have a purpose for your life, not your will but God's will."

I always follow a year long Bible study program but in between I normally focus on a specific Biblical doctrine and questions.

This brings me to a question ? Social media, what is your view ?

Although I worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years I had an almost zero digital footprint. As a Christian my mixed thoughts on social media left me with an internal struggle. I did not take the decision to share my Bible study and Christian topic discussions on social media (specifically Youtube) lightly. I know that what ever I share should always be based on this, the Bible is our only divine inspired word of God, only our Lord Jesus Christ saves.

I believe if we understand that the rapid advancements in AI comes as no surprise to our God. Only if we stay rooted in the understanding that God already gave us a detailed plan for the future we can standfast in our faith.

Looking forward to meet you

I struggle with youtube. I have a channel but it's virtually invisible. I much prefer to deal with real people. I'm uncomfortable with microphone and camera and my facilities are most unprofessional. Still, a few people have been blessed. I warn people not to expect anything fancy and I sure stick to that! I hope the content is what counts, not the presentation.

"Everyday as you wake, God have a purpose for your life, not your will but God's will, , I normally focus on a specific Biblical doctrine and questions, , This brings me to a question ? Social media, what is your view ? "
Is He stern or hard? We thankfully know, he is God. But, I would advise not to throw the full weight of your contentment on your narrow walk, but on His leading. Remember the Apostle Paul? A "Hebrew of Hebrews, ,in strict conformity to the law of our fathers." But how did that work out for him after being saved? "I do not even judge myself. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord." (1Cor 4:2-4)

What then of Social Media? Be selective. I don't like so much deplatforming and deliberate demonetizing etc. going on, I have written much of it off. Furthermore, I have my own struggle with digital communication, thankfully, at a distance so long as those exchanges don't take take a brother or sister's writing ability sudden uptick by overwrought AI content (2Cor 10:11)!

Matthew 15:11
New International Version

11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”

2 Corinthians 4:6
New International Version

6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

Matthew 5:13-16
New International Version

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
