3. All congressmen, senators, and appointed government officials shall not have a government expense account.
They will pay for all their trips and expenses out of their salary and will be docked $1000 for every vote they miss.
4. Eliminate all government retirement benefits and make all pay SS like the rest of us do.
5. Term limits. Presidents one 6 year term. Senators 2 four year terms. Congressmen 4 two year terms. With no government benefits after they leave office.
Make government a time of serving the good of the people, not a career to make one rich.

The congress could/should pass legislation to address such things and be very specific in what can and cannot be done.I agree, except for outlawing Executive Orders. As offensive as these have been from both sides, this would hamstring the ability of the US to respond in a timely manner to rapidly changing events. Can you envision a major insurrection in New York City and we would have to wait for congress to respond? EO's are crucial to responsive government.
