I don't really see much good that has come from feminism, it's done more harm than good that I can see. Certainly today it has nothing to do with the church but more importantly, nothing to do with God's Word. But I don't believe it ever really did. I'd have to look a little deeper at the roots but I don't think it had anything to do with God. It brought us the likes of Margret Sanger, Gloria Steinem and Hillary Clinton. I don't have a daughter but if I had a feminist is the last thing I would encourage her to be.

Feminism was always a tactic to destroy the family. For example, women did not gain the right to vote as much as men lost the right to represent their families. If men and women can go their own ways, why not children as well.

Satan's greatest trick was telling the woman she could be like God by doing the complete opposite of what God told her to do. But there is a Feminine Biblical Principle that is counter to Feminism too. Think about it, feminism essentially makes the woman start to act actually unwomanly, even inhuman, and always leads to the host's destruction and the collateral damage to the society around her. The true Feminine Principle in the Bible on the other hand is the true path of maximum female glorification in compliance with God, as God designed (pronouncing the creation of the original woman as "very good" originally). This is seen how the Kingdoms of the spiritual war are portrayed in the feminine and the traits associated with them and identifying who is in what kingdom. Virgin Bride of the Lamb vs Mystery Babylon Mother of Harlots and Abominations as the two spirits that represent the Kingdom of God vs the Kingdom of Satan.

Even the real physical people and women have counterparts with character traits of both. Mother Mary is the queen of true Femininity and acculturated the saints and literally bore the Christ and thus the whole Church. Jezebel is the queen of all Feminists who really wore the pants in her relationship and used her power to acculturate a society of wickedness around whoredom and idolatry, a true matriarch of Hell whose spirit is even even warned against in the Bible for future generations. Ruth is the female embodiment of Relational Fidelity that married an older man, not for his money, but because he was in Naomi's tribe and Ruth loved Naomi and her people and just wanted to be part of Naomi's family and the religion of God. Delilah is the Feminist Seductress of Mammon who is seductive and preys on strong men for passion but also really just to play them as her boytoy and really weaken them with her female charms and emotionally manipulate him until she can betray him to the Phillistines for money basically. Athaliah was the Feminist Queen of Usurpation who killed all the males of the line of Judah to take power for herself and nearly wiped out the lineage of Jesus, a Karen on steroids. Esther the Feminine Queen of Sacrifice that gives up her virginity to become the concubine of a foreign kingm she wins over his heart and then even risks her own life again to save her uncle Mordecai and all her people from literally being genocided by the insidious plot of Haman. You even hear the modern women talk about the Proverbs woman thinking they are her, and they are, but the catch is there are two Proverbs women too, the Feminist Proverbs 7 Woman going full Dove Cameron and eating all the simps into Hell for breakfast and the Feminiine Proverbs 31 Woman who is the true crown jewel wife supporting and loving her husband and family (and also is in fact a prophecy given to the writer by his mother for bonus points to praise Jesus.)

Paul was trying to get the men to stop belittling the women as if they are nothings.
He was going over their teaching about how to treat their wives. But then he exploded at the men by saying who makes you better than the women. he went on and said, "Did God only worked through the men." I just read the OP and I wonder what the sacrament she has in mind is. Could it be having an abortion? Is the author referring to some sort of wiccan ritual with the moon or something like that that pagan feminists might do?

Feminism.in this current radical form is harmful.the idea that 'the patriarchy' has historically oppressed women and seeing history through those eyes.that type of lens is rather harmful and also. The underlying concept is that men are oppressors of women this leads to antagonism between men and women.

Women are as strong as men, yet the perpetual victim of their system. It's an ongoing struggle, ongoing antagonism.

Feminists also interprets various women's movements throughout history as part of feminism, including the suffragettes and some of the other movements. As Christians, we need to realize that some of our political ideology and philosophy is not particularly biblical.The Bible does not.say anything in favor of women's suffrage or even universal suffrage for men and is not a pro-democracy book.

I agree with feminism not being a aprt of the church. It is Apostle Pauls greatest fear.

Um, no. You've quaffed the poison of Catholic idolatry. Mary is the earthly mother of Jesus; that's it, that's all.

Feminism brought to light some of the things that the church should have dealt with... and didn't. The Christian faith uplifts women to equality with men; the church had for centuries put women in an inferior position. Whether you believe in equality of role or merely of value is a side issue; there is no second-class gender in Christianity. Unfortunately many Christians have misunderstood this, and have treated the egalitarian movement as a feminist and therefore anti-Christian initiative, which it is not and never was.

Feminism has also righted some wrongs in the culture: equal pay for equal work is one of them. Opening of roles in which gender is irrelevant is another. That's not to say that feminism is all good; it certainly isn't. Ultimately it is a secular movement, and as every other secular movement eventually does, it has gone off the rails.

I understand feminism if they point out faults that should be corrected, and point out inequality, and want fairness for all.

But it does not work out that way in the long run for arrogance will take over among the worldly.

Then they push their ways of arrogance, and they are better, and exalt themselves.

The truth is the women today behave worse than the men did when feminism first started crying about the men.

Oh those white people, oh those black people, oh those men, oh those women, but they all act the same and they all want power and control.

This world is a power struggle and has been pushing for power and control for thousands of years between the nations, ethnic groups, and genders.

Feminism does not care to be equal but above for that is the way of the world.

Women want power and control like the men, and black people want power and control like the white people.

They point their fingers at other ethnic groups, and gender, pointing out faults, and bad behavior, all the while their own group acts the same, and wants the same.

Arrogance does not care about their faults but it wants to dog out, and belittle, and does not care about truth, or facts but it wants to exalt itself.

One big power struggle and they all play the game all the while acting like they are justified and finding fault with the other groups who play the game.

The Woke movement becoming arrogant, self exalting, and they are better, but they are mean spirited, and hateful, caused by insecurity, and low self esteem caused by American society that is highly selfish, and arrogant, and go against each other more than any other nation.

The LGBTQ community adding new identities and possibly making them up in hopes people will say hey that is me and I did not even know it to add numbers to them and increase their arrogant agenda.

Some may be sincere when they first start a group but it will not end up that way and some start off exalting right off the bat.

And so it is with feminism for they really want to exalt themselves.

Many women on the internet exalt themselves all for the sake of exalting themselves and they are better than men.

Which is strange for men spent money lavishly on women, and protected the nation.

And built up the nation the buildings, infrastructure, and things that made the nation have a comfortable, enjoyable, and lavish lifestyle.

But women want to dog out the men being ungrateful, and unthankful.

You see the women do not need the men now and will exalt themselves as human nature will do.

In America the men already built up the nation giving a comfortable living, prosperity, lavish lifestyle, and pleasures that America has.

So the women do not need the men anymore, and do not have to depend on them for it is already there.

So they will exalt away and who cares if they are against men they do not need them and do not have to depend on them for it is built and already there.

Single guys, if you date a girl and she complains about 'the patriarchy' and isn't just being clever and funny, you should break it off and date someone else. You might give her a chance, though, teach her the Bible on the subject and try to talk her out of it. After that, if she won't listen, demote her to 'just friends' status. Don't marry a woman who views history through the lens of a male dominated system perpetually keeping her down.

If a woman thinks women are supposed to submit to their husbands, is 'patriarchy' really going to be considered something evil to bring down?

Vet women for feminism, for beliefs on submission, for belief in the permanence of marriage, for their ideas about grounds for divorce, for life goals, for views on finances and giving, and don't forget elder care later in life and attitudes toward parents. That last stuff may be important later but young people may not think of it.

I've known Feminism was a Communist creation for many years by its fruits. I haven't looked into it deeply, but Candace Owens (a Catholic, so discretion is required) recently asserted its origins are linked to witchcraft. This makes a lot of sense to me, again, given the fruit it produces (female usurpation of the family, abortion, encouragement of sexual immorality and opposition to marriage etc.) Ultimately, Communism is just a disguise used while carrying out spiritual warfare, so it makes sense that the true roots of Feminism go even deeper, but it is something I need to look into more.

I was looking it up yesterday, and apparently it came from a French term having to do with female treatment in medicine. But suffragettes came to use it at some point.

I don't know about links to witchcraft historically, but there are modern pagan feminists who tie it to goddess worship and garbage like that. I think Communist thought fueled the wave of it in the 1960s. The Marxist Leninist Communists would fund some minority to seek for independence within a nation, then try to turn them Communist. Creating division between men and women was quite a strategy.

I must have overlooked this, I did not mean to not reply. Well sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a Catholic but I mean if they wanna make this a dogma, hey go ahead, it's at least stronger than some of their other dogmas that they're now having to edit or discard to the supremacy of the canon Sola Scriptura. Heh one could say I am more spiritual than religious because of my generation to me it's more about the Kingdom of God versus Kingdom of the Devil straight up until the end of time it's the classic dichotomy of good vs evil. So now it is curious to me that of all the women examples you pick out Mary. This makes me think the type of fully human woman you really need to be careful of is Jezebel then whom is Mary's dark opposite archetype. That's not a dig at you either, that's pretty commoon actually for the Boomer and Gen X women, the matriarchs of the wicked feminist system, most of them are Jezebels or even Athaliahs for the Gen X women. Delilahs pretending to be Ruth are the more common archetype in my generation.

Feminism is, like every Christian church or institution, a corruption of what God wants. Both have some good aspects, but both have also allowed the world to pervert the message they deliver to worldly ends. One point that is often overlooked is that the two people who have done more for women than any other individual or group of individuals are Jesus and the Apostle Paul. Yet their teachings get perverted.
