Now I think sometimes about scripture and stuff like this. When Jesus gave up his spirit on the cross the earthquake happened. Bible says the Earth will be shaken like never before ( revelations). Now speaking of when the earthquake happened again when the earthquake happened is it possible it happened cause Jesus spirit or himself in a spirit cause of him sinking to the depths of the earth? I ponder these things like this. Just wondering if I'm weird or if others do this also? If you got a Bible thought like this I would love to hear about it. But let's not go into right or wrong I would never say anything intentionally out of Scripture. Just would like to share Bible thoughts. What ya think?

People have wondered for many years what Jesus wrote on the ground in the incident with the woman caught in adultery. Some believe it was a list of sins, and every man with a rock saw one sin he had done in the list.

Personally I think it was a question. Where is the man? That particular sin requires two participants, and they only brought one. If they had really wanted justice...

I do as well. Did he actually go to hell as well? Or does that mean in his tomb?

What would he do in h****? Take the keys from the devil? Take the lost there who believe in him?

18For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

I believe the Earthquake fortold in the Book of Reverlation is still yet to happen.. It is described as the biggest earthquake men will have ever experienced up till that day.. The earthquake that happened at the time of the execution of Jesus was as nothing as compared to the one revealed in the Book of Revelation..

Nothing wrong with pondering things.. Especally when it is in the spirit of wanting more wisdom.. Maybe the earthquake was to bring about the tearing of the Veil in the temple.. The movement of the walls was probably enough to cause the veil to rip apart?

(Matthew 27:50-51) "¶ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. {51} And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;"

hopefully, every Christian has cogitated on how God performs events. it may be just simply because of His will. or He may choose to allow a couple of things occur before the real event He has in mind. maybe we'll learn some of His ways up n heaven.

That is a question rooted in modernity and whether we like it or not people's worldview was different then. Personally I think the reference to his writing on the ground is there simply to make us reflect on our own shortcomings. In the story Jesus never mentioned that the law was unjust he just asked people to execute the law if they were free from their own shortcomings.
