it says do not grieve the HS. Like when as children we would grieve our parents when we did not follow them, or did not do as they asked. or tried to work against them not with them

then it says whom we are sealed until the day of redemption. (see eph 1: 13 - 14) it is just confriming, that just like our parents will always be our parents no matter what. the HS will be our pledge to God no matter what.

In other words, yes.

The redemption of the body is future. We are guaranteed this redemption through the sealing of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Ephesians 4:30

King James Version

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

It is speaking of how a Christian should behave when they put on the new man which is when they receive the Spirit to act Christlike.

So grieve not the Spirit of God would seem like it would mean act accordingly to how the Spirit wants to lead you in that behavior and not contrary.

Do what pleases the Spirit not the flesh seeing you put on the new man by receiving the Spirit.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Which walk in the Spirit and not contrary to that.

How else would you grieve the Spirit other than not doing what the Spirit wants which are the fruits of the Spirit.

You are not under the law being led of the Spirit with those traits which the law cannot touch you for prosecution.

Psa 78:39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.

Psa 78:40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!

Psa 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

Psa 78:55 He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

Psa 78:56 Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:

Psa 78:57 But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

Psa 78:58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

Psa 78:59 When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel.
