CCP Taking Over The Vatican?

I watched on EWTN Catholic News as a Priest was concerned about Chinese Bishops and Cardinals being elected because they answer to the Chinese Govt.

Pope Lwo just elected a Chinese Bishop:

Is the concern real or paranoia? Is it true Chinese Cardinals and Bishops answer to Beijing? Or is that an unfounded allegation?

I know The Three Self Churches,
which are govt controlled churches cannot preach the authentic gospel and are restricted, forcing what is called The Underground Church in China to meet secretly.

Why worry if one faithless organization infiltrates another faithless organization? Let the dead bury their own dead.

No worry here, nor with many who are likewise watching His plan to redeem His Creation be unfolded before our eyes, many who belong to the cult from mecca are being called to the Kingdom of G-d and His only begotten Son.

Like the Russian Orthodox "church", Rome is worldly with a pseudo Christian overlay. China's government has nothing to fear. Rome will compromise as usual.

Another issue is that the CCP has produced its own version of the Bible, which is full of error and heresy. God is bigger than any nation or individual. No matter what they try, God will thwart their plans.

Except before Christ returns there will be a Beast that rules the world and conquers all people:
“And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation.” (Revelation 13:7).

We are spared the Wrath of God by The Blood of Jesus, but not the wrath of the Beast.

Because it exerts influence over 2 Billion plus people.
We have a Reformed Church because a Monk named Luther came out of Rome. He did not underestimate Rome..

There is a large and strong church in China. The CCP (not really communist any more) has been trying to eradicate the church since the 1950's. There have been a few years of tolerance, but they were the exception. The Vatican cosying up to Xi is nothing to God or His victorious church.

I personally believe that the church will be raptured prior to the tribulation and the rise of the beast. Many will turn to Jesus in that time and they will suffer. However, we overcome the Dragon (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, our testimony and by not loving out own lives to the point of death. That may entail physical death, as many believers have suffered at the hands of Muslim terror groups. (Revelation 12).
