Oh wow, we're back online?
I don't mean any disrespect towards whoever owns the domain name christianchat.com but forgetting to renew your domain on time is kinda like forgetting to renew your drivers license.
You can still drive with an expired one of course, but if you're caught, you go to jail.
And that's all i have to say about that. :coffee:

Back to our regular scheduled programming. (y)

I can't speak for him, but maybe he needs donations since the forum depends on them for upkeep?
I really wish I could help right now.

Yep it’s busy hour for this server since high traffic hours are usually 6pm - 12am usually (American time of course :) )

So either the page goes down or the database goes down.

I don't want to create and entirely new thread for this question, so I figure this is a good spot to ask considering it's something-something.

I can post pics from the web just about anywhere the post image feature is available, and I can upload a pic from my pc for my avatar but why can't I post a pic directly from my pc in the first case unless it is first posted in the www?

Yes, as Zandar said, are you trying to upload an attachment/picture?
I do that all the time here. Is that the issue you're having? Uploading attachments in a post?

I don't really know what use this newfound skill might be but I'm going to have fun while learning it.
I'm beginning with just coloring for now, but I also downloaded an oil painting app to learn how that works. Maybe, eventually, I'll actually crack open my Bob Ross Joy of Painting kit.

Hello Rosemary.
This can be a difficult problem to pin down since it may be a browser issue, a graphics card issue or something else.
As Zandar suggested have you tried to do the exact same steps on another browser such as Firefox?
If it works on Firefox then it means that we have to work on your other browser a bit, maybe clearing a cache.
But try doing the same steps on another browser first.

Thank you @Eli and @Zandar ...I ended up having to fill form out by hand , but next time I will try Firefox...Thank you both for replying :)

I upgraded to 11 from 7. I find it pretty user friendly but all I do is game on it and use my phone for all other things. Anything else might be painful on the PC I dont know.

Just wanted to make everyone on this site aware of a database leak which contained passwords.
It also made the news: Massive data breach exposes 184 million passwords from Google, Apple accounts | Fox News

To summarize, you want to make sure that you have multi-factor authentication for important things in your life such as banks and anything involving important info such as mortage, credit cards etc.
Multi factor authentication is annoying because every time you login to your bank, the bank sends you a code on your phone and then you log in.
Is it annoying to do this everytime? Yes!
Is a good step to do to protect your data and money? Absolutley!

On another personal note, these are the idiots who are building your "AI" and they leave a whole database open without a password and without encrypting it, so hackers can go in and have a field day.
This is like leaving the keys to your house under the front door rug and then you want to blame the thief for stealing.

So i just wanted to let you all know as i'm changing all my passwords and setting up multifactor authentication in other platforms that provide it for all my stuff. Not all provide this option just so you all know, so changing the password would be a good idea.

Something on this scale happened to the whole eletricity grid in Texas maybe 10-15 years ago when hackers went in because the idiots who implemented the systems didn't even put a custom username and password on the appliances and they left the default settings.
This is why if it was me, i would fire the IT guy not go after the thief.

I would go after the thief if the IT guy did his job but most people as we all know due to DEI practices, don't know how to do their job or they're lazy.
