Psalm 91

Psalm 91 verses 1 plus 9 - 10a ~ He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Because you have made the LORD your dwelling, no evil will befall you.

Psalm 91
{91:1} He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall
abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
{91:2} I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my
God; in him will I trust.
{91:3} Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and]
from the noisome pestilence.
{91:4} He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt
thou trust: his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.
{91:5} Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the
arrow [that] flieth by day;
{91:6} [Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for
the destruction [that] wasteth at noonday.
{91:7} A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right
hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.
{91:8} Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the
wicked.
{91:9} Because thou hast made the LORD, [which is] my refuge, [even]
the most High, thy habitation;
{91:10} There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come
nigh thy dwelling.
{91:11} For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in
all thy ways.
{91:12} They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy
foot against a stone.
{91:13} Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and
the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
{91:14} Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver
him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
{91:15} He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with
him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
{91:16} With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.


Ah yes, what I was going to say was, I believe that when he talked about 10k falling at he's left, and 1k falling at he's right, he was talking about people stepping away from right standing with God. Not that they fell by the sword.

But, then I read the Psalm 91, and yes it was confirmed. Or maybe, it has both spiritual and flesh meaning?

Satan chose to quote Psalm 91:11-12 to Jesus Christ trying to tempt Jesus to prove Himself to be the Son of God…




But, notice Satan (the dragon) did not quote ALL of the scripture… the next verse 13 says…



Isn’t it interesting and quite obvious why Satan did NOT quote verse 13…

Has any body noticed the 3 conditions that are in Psalm 91?
....and without obeying them, is any of it applicable to his children?

Evil will and does come after all to all to stop one, anyone from continuing to believe God Father and Son as risen for them, where they are reconciled first in the death, before any new life in God's Spirit and Truth could ever be given and now is given by God Father, thank you Son you two as Won (One) John 19:30, Hebrews 9:14-17

One of the ways this is done, is with reward and punishment treatment. Punishment, pain or rejection when with God, and the other when rejecting God. Controlling you with the reward. Programming you.

What you just quoted above is religion
Me seeing what religion is as revealed by God to me at least, after been under Law that killed me daily and depressed me seriously, maybe others too, might be going through this too, or might have too. Turn to God not anyone else please personally and see truth please?

Religion is= what am I doing to get God to be pleased by my doing and not doings, which became dung to Paul, now me also. after that road to Damascus that God used to share with us the people to stand in belief to God and see new and then do new by free choice to do it, knowing it is best for you to do, no matter what others do or not do, which is usually religion playing their fiddle, I am right and you are wrong, a do or else attitude. First birth we each go through punishment and rewards, and then do or not do and get punished over it by people of religion and our up-bringers, usually parents, not God, people do that, "You better or else God will get you", Really? God just loves us all Jeremiah 29:11, Micah 6:8, psalm 91, wants, desires for us to choose to, not have to.
I see thanks to God "I" am on the highway to Hell, according to most religions. No more stop signs, no more having to, no more should have could have, better do next time or else!, religion attitudes, that bring out sin as in Romans 7 reveals to me that took a long time reading over and over again and again to see what aul is saying as in Phil 3 as well about giving. up Law to win the risen Christ, counting Law as dung.
God did it, I believe this in thanksgiving and praise Psalm 100:4, Psalm 103:12, John 19:30 it is fulfilled, which is why he came here in the first place, in the only perfect flesh and blood for us to be new in the risen Son unto Father, those two as Won One, make us Won in humility at least for me anyways. God is love that goes on forever 1 Cor 13:13
So, I do not have to stop or not speed, yet I can, so can you, anyone. Yet, in appreciation, I Rather choose to stop, not speed and not manipulate anyone, in concern for everyone to not get in a wreck and cause harm as I did when I was under Law, I was not seeing what upholding Law meant Romans 3:31 now do, once got removed by God from under Law in his loving grace given me and y'all too, thank you
