Mother's Day was celebrated yesterday...

Motherhood is really a journey worth being praised.

I've seen how it is to a good extent, and how truly without the help of God and a supportive partner, things can become really tough.

Dear Sis♥️,
Pray well and allow God lead you before taking that step of beginning a relationship with that person, with the aim of it ending in marriage.

Too many stories out there, so many troubled marriages. You don't want to marry a prayer point. You really don't want to👌

Just remember that no man wants to be treated as a "fixer-upper". Some women do manage to manipulate their husband into change, then they complain that he's not the man she married. Men marry thinking that women do not change, but they do. And especially when they have children. Women marry men, thinking that they will change but they do not. It's God's business to change us. Don't try to play God!

I really didn't write in relation to a fixer-upper, one partner trying to manipulate the other, or a partner playing God.

My focus was on praying and being led by God before choosing or saying yes to a life partner, as well as having a supportive partner. I'm writing to Christians here, and I don't think anyone who has been genuinely saved would want to manipulate his or her partner.
My focus here is on Christians, Christians in the very sense of it, not the general audience.

Thanks...

I think I understand , we don't expect Christians to think and behave the way that non Christians do , we hold them to a higher standard and so we should I think .
I am not a mother and I never wanted to b for lots of different reasons which r too boring to talk about . I don't regret not having children and I don't feel as if I missed out on anything . For me , ' the family ' wasn't a nice place so I wasn't in love with the idea of having my own .
I do like children a lot , especially the under 10 year olds , they seem to like me too . I can understand how people must love their children more than their own life and that's a wonderful love from God . Imagine how much God loves us ! Parents , children , grandchildren , brothers and sisters , God's love is enormous and beyond my comprehension for sure . God is my mother and father , my family my home . He alone has looked ( and still is / does ) after me . Psalm 27 all of it but especially V 10 . Much love to u dear sister ❤️ .

I had a time when it was like I didn't feel like getting married, another time not long ago when there was the fear of getting married because of what I had seen, I know what a dysfunctional family can look like, all these can put fear in my heart and make me take the road of generalising what a marriage can look like, thinking my marriage and family can become messed up and dysfunctional eventually, but I've also had a glimpse of what a beautiful marriage can be like in reality.

I believe that God can make mine stand out among others, that mine can be different, and despite the concerns I have, I'm still choosing to trust God and choosing to trust that He'll do things differently for me when it's time.

Beautiful godly marriages still exist, and homes built on the foundation of Christ, mutual respect and genuine love as well 🙂

Whatever your reasons might be, I'm glad you're still able to hold on to and trust God through it all🙂
You liking children a lot speaks to an extent of your heart...🙂❤️

God's Blessings...🙂

Yes choosing ones life husband/wife is one of the most important decisions of ones life.. But as i look at society around me a lot of people have been extremely lacking in wisdom when it comes to this decision..

Too many people rush in simply because they want to experience a wedding or they are focused on securing some social status they think they will get from being married.. Too many short term impulsive thinkers.. Marriage today is a mine field..

It's sad really.
The more Christian singles need to be educated, admonished and spoken to by people God would have do the speaking, about these things.

You know, seminars or programs for Christian singles can be oragnised by denominations and these issues spoken about and treated extensively.

Some really don't know the truth about these things.
