My friend that is exactly the way I see it and I am an American. President Trump is all about power. He wants to control everything nationally and internationally, regardless of who it hurts or how he does it.

When a country is losing its position (hegemony) and its dominance is threatened it will usually not act in a very rational way and will behave in ways that actually work against its survival.

I really like your avatar, sadly "peace" is like a dirty word these days and many Christians dehumanize others and defend atrocities under the guise of this is war.

Thank you for your wonderful comments. I am a Mennonite I belong to one of the three historic peace churches, which includes the Quakers in the brethren also.

I was raised under the brethren teaching. It came through Watchman Nee, but his teaching was all based on JN Darby.

Also I always considered the Menonites to be modern day sons of Jonadab -- the house of the Rechabites.

Im trying to figure out why europeons care about what Trunp is doing. They have the socialist/marxist government in place so they should be happy with whoever is running the EU. See? I dont know who controls the EU and dont care.

I do so appreciate their view on war/peace, now that I am older and I understand it so much better, especially when one realizes how consent for war is often manufactured with lies.

Yep, and President Trump reveals it in the way he acting with Putin and Selensky. To make Selensky responsible for the war its a joke.
And to speak from a peace Deal is a much bigger joke.
He is not in concern for His own nation. He only concerns about himself.
And I cant understand that so many people dont realize it.
