You know, I have to say, this is a VERY good point and I'm glad you pointed it out.

When people told me they forgave me but NEVER asked for my forgiveness in return, I always assumed it was because they thought they hadn't sinned (and I don't believe in one-sided sinning when it comes to dealing with people.)

But maybe in some cases, they were actually afraid to ask for forgiveness.

Which exposes my OWN one-sidedness -- I had never thought about THEM being scared to ask.

Thank you for your honest answers, @ATSTD.

I obviously need to be asking for some forgiveness myself.

And, my apologies to @In3dee -- I'm sorry for derailing your thread.

This just seemed like an important topic and I thank you for letting us talk it out. đź’—
No apologies needed. It's a random thread. :D

Also, when someone doesn't forgive, all it does is hurt themself.

When you forgive a person, you are releasing the pain you received and healing yourself.

What are your plans for the day? Do you have routines? Something special planned? Just a getting-to-know folks thread. :)
Howdy and welcome to the forum.

All I got is w*rk today.

But I started the day right with a bowl of homemade deer chili. I melted some homemade pimento cheese in it and crushed some fritos into it.

Lunch? What's that? Don't nobody (burp) need no lunch.

Finally Friday. "Good" Friday if you prefer. I have some Bible study to catch up on. I need to finish sorting through clothes for the shelter. Also, some garden work.

What plans do you have today?

Well...I still owe but no work today. Giving blood this morning, then shopping, do some homeschooling, will cut some grass or clear some trees, then have guests for dinner and family night.

In actuality, I'm giving plasma. And while it is helpful for others, I am also paid for it. And yes, every day for me is full.
