Notice though that the complicated algorithms that they (Logos) run on their site, are unable to de-code what @GWH writes.
For him you need two interpreters.
One hieroglyphics interpreter and one specialized acronyms interpreter.
Together they might give us a glimpse as to what @GWH says half the time. :giggle:
Well, I am simply re-writing what I put in white font under my panels so something shows up in my post stream.

Like, I just posted this panel, and I have changed the citation to Romans 5 verses 18-19. Logos doesn't hyper-link that.

Romans 5 verses 18-19 ~ Just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brought justification and life for all men. For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus Christ) the many will be made righteous.

Well since we don't know how their algorithm works, you have to try different ways to see if it will "catch" it.
Their software works like a web crawler like any major search engine, like Google or Bing.
They crawl the internet and then convert the text into link. So the conversion is not instantaneous. This is why the conversion of the text into link happened 2 or 3 days after i posted the text.
So, check back on your posts in a few days i'm guessing.
If they're not converted into links, then you found a way of avoiding their algorithm. (y)

Yeah, I have been checking... this method works...

Well with this out of the way, let's talk about the Windows Phone OS.
That was a short and a sad story wasn't it?

The sad story of the windows phone is a short one because windows had big dreams of dominating the phone market and surpassing the iphone which surpassed the blackberry.
Windows thought that they were going to be "a jack of all trades" but it doesn't work like that especially since that was the time that started their idenitity crisis and now they give us laptops that look like macs. lol

Yes, i saw the error. It was a database error because the host was down before that, the page was down.
Then the page came up but the database was still down.
I think i mentioned to you a while ago that it's because the server is hosting other sites besides this one and it gets busy and a lot of services go down.
A dedicated server is more expensive but there's a lot i can say on this topic before i bore everyone to death. :D

Not as sad as the Ubuntu phone. I had hopes for that one. I figured canonical could pull it off if anybody could. But I guess nobody can.

I hope you don't mind me asking this here... I am experiencing a problem on my laptop where I cannot connect to Christian Chat... it goes to go daddy and it's telling me that Christian chat is parked there and it's trying to sell the domain name. I can connect to Christian chat on my phone which is where I am right now, but this go daddy issue has been with me all morning... I saw it once before but it resolved itself, but now it doesn't seem to want to go away and I don't know how to get rid of it and I'm wondering if you do know how to do that? I did restart my laptop and ran C cleaner thinking maybe it was some kind of a virus, but go daddy still came back. I just want go daddy to go away.

The message I got says Christian chat.com has expired and is parked free courtesy of godaddy.com and then it says get this domain and there's a few other links under that ... single adult... dating meet online single ... free senior dating sites... I don't know why these are showing up because I do not visit those types of sites at all.

I just set up my new laptop also and was able to connect to Christian chat at first, but then when I reopened the browser it went to go daddy... I'm also noticing that there are very few new posts on Christian chat and I'm wondering if other people are having this same problem...

My laptop switches back and forth between being able to connect here and going to the godaddy site.

Very perplexing! And hardly anyone else is online... only 11 members right now.

Magenta I am posting from my phone. Also, I am actually unable to get on from my desktop.
I’m using Windows 10 on that device. The phone is Apple.

Thank you for responding... I'm quite perplexed and was talking my daughter a little while ago and she got go daddy on her laptop and then Christian chat showed up and then go daddy again so it's really mysterious and nobody else's writing on this issue and it seems like there's so few people online anyway... I do hope everything is okay with the site and thank you for responding and letting me know...

I do check periodically from my laptop and sometimes Christian chat comes through and sometimes it doesn't and it shows the go daddy site so it's very spotty.. Though I'm always able to get on CC from my phone.

Same. I even deleted the cache. Seems random and not related to my machine at all.

Yes my daughter thought it had something to do with my cache also, which is why I was able to use my phone all day Saturday but that wasn't the case yesterday... So it had nothing to do with the cache, after all, and it does seem to be resolved now, so it was probably a payment issue... At one point when I was online there was only one other member online at the same time LOL... I should have taken a screenshot. :unsure:o_O:giggle:

Yeah, I was going to purchase the address just so I could give it back to the admin. I didn't want anyone skeevy to get their hands on it. God Daddy said it was already owned SO I hoped for the best and here we are again! :)

It seems completely random. Even in the same day I can login just fine. Later BOOM right to GoDaddy. It will get sorted out I'm sure.

Oh wow, we're back online?
I don't mean any disrespect towards whoever owns the domain name christianchat.com but forgetting to renew your domain on time is kinda like forgetting to renew your drivers license.
You can still drive with an expired one of course, but if you're caught, you go to jail.
And that's all i have to say about that. :coffee:
