Meanwhile Trump says to Denmark "Let my people go in Greenland....you never loved them anyway....besides....their feelings are hurt too much over you calling them incestuous....just because everyone is marrying their cousin there don't mean nothing"
Its not only Iceland then https://www.bbc.com/news/av/technology-24304415. These countries need more immigration.

I was sure you knew about the trucker and farmer protest? The government went in and froze bank accounts, would not let them bring in food and water and arrested people for "words." And did ALL kinds of under handed things to those patriots.

It was a show to the "little guy" that the "Little guy" had BETTER keep their mouths SHUT.....or ELSE.

And America, I am afraid, is very close to the same mentality.
Wow, i did not know that.
But this is a tricky game as to who folds first basically and what leverage do you actually have.
Reagan tried something similar in the 80s with some union, can't remember now, maybe airport employees.
But it all depends on the leverage.
If Canada doesn't want to meet the demands of their truckers halfway, then truckers have more leverage because they deliver the food to Canada.
The thing is that they'd have to stay united though, because if some fold and go back to work, then the government won't feel the damage.

It is our fault. If we want to do something about it at this stage....It's going to be basement dwelling with sardines and lots of heartache...for everybody.

Between Trump acting like Hitler, and our politicians retaliating with tarriffs, Plus the liberals electected a guy literally named Carney,
I only had so much room on the page in word.
I COULD point out that when we refer to people we dislike as "Hitler", it usually indicates we have no real argument, and we're just overly emotional while devoid of anything substantive to say.

But that might sound critical.
And I'd never want to sound critical of the kind and virtuous Christians who go around equating duly elected officials with mass murderers.

No, it's more than that. The way Donald is behaving is just like Hitler did in many ways: Dismantling the government to give himself unlimited power; giving ICE unchecked power, even over the judiciary; attacking the media and free speech; talk of annexing sovereign nations; demoralizing people who aren't WASPs and blaming them for all our ills. He's behaving exactly like an authoritarian dictator in the making would act.

Hitler wanted to "make Germany great again" too. We ignore all this at our own peril. If you can't see or understand this, you'd do well to pick up a history book and find out what you're missing.

This is all true if you have short-term memory.
But for the rest of us who have long-term memory, we know that this is what the left did.

Our state had a meeting in the last month. Republicans are voicing their conserns. Trump says these people are democrats but they don't look Democrat they look like hardworking farmers that are going to suffer the most with tariffs as some crops like flour is sent to China then back to the USA. Also soybeans are grown every other year on crop rotation to replenish the soil as (lentis don't sell as much) that's sold directly over sees to China

What's going on in Canada by the way that got you guys so excited?
Price increases or something? :giggle:
Trump wants to put tariffs on Lumber, Automobiles, Steel and Aluminum, and oil and gas. All the stuff we sell to the United States which means Americans pay more for Canadian goods and killing thousands of jobs in Canada, So Canada is retaliating with Tarrifs on US goods coming into Canada, when Trump threatened with Tarriffs on Energy Ford replied with a 50% tax on Energy going to the states to recover the losses.

Thus we are in a tarrif and tax war with the United States. Also Trump wants to annex Canada and make it the 51st state. despite what Canada wants or feels.

Retaliating? Canadas tariffs have been high for years. Whats the problem with both countries having the same percentage in tariffs? Trump is right. The U.S. has been getting cheated for far to long.

I think we can safely state, Canada is not at all interested in having the USA as the 11th province.
According to the news sources I read, it isn't as for me personally, im kind of on the fence, I mean I don't want privatized health care that costs a fortune, and unregulated financial industries. On the other hand it would be nice to have the luxury and freedom to look for work in a warm tropical climate like Hawaii, California or Florida, where it almost never snows and the tempratures are warm all year round and ice is not a hazard to walk on every winter. plus if no one wants to hire me to work up here, it would be nice to have broader horizons to the south,

Well here is what I noticed, Trump is using the same America First to rally a divided country the same way Hitler Rallied Germany
Trump has total disregard for Law and order like Hitler had total disregard for law and order.
Trumps Disregard for human rights like Hitlers disregard for human rights
Hitler threw his enemies into prisons and camps based on political and racial motivation, trump is deporting, imprisoning and throwing people into prison based on racial and political motivation with out trials or evidence based convictions that crimes have actually been commited.
Oh and how Hitler went around annexing countries against their will just like Trump wants to do with Greenland and Canada.

Everything Trump is doing has been done before, don't act surprised when you get drafted to fight WW3
Why did Adolf Hitler start World War II? | Britannica
I agree with that article about why Hitler started the war. There are parallels with what the Donald is doing now with one important distinction. Hitler has visions of making Germany great again, for the country was indeed in bad shape. But there was nothing that bad about the US when Donald got elected. He has told the big lie about how the US has gotten such a bad deal and how other countries are laughing at us. He had to make it sound like the sky was falling and he was the only one who could save us; but it's all just a fantasy in his own warped imagination. If ever people were laughing at us it's now; since Donald and his clown show got elected people are definitely laughing now.

I kinda feel sorry for Americans to be honest, no matter what side of the boarder you sit on it's the fact that the tarriffs and taxes are going to hit poor and impoverished people and the working class people the most adding an unnecessary burden with increased cost of living.
