This is a Conspiracy & Corruption Discussion Thread for all Southern California Conspiracies & Corruption: (Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties)

Here are a few talking points: Immigration, Abortion, Illegals driving without drivers licenses, Mayors defunding the fire department right before the biggest fire disaster Los Angeles County has ever experienced, Homelessness, Free Housing for Illegals when there are homeless vets on the streets, prostitution, the very noticeable food and drink options in grocery stores and convenient stores that differ between "ghetto" areas and suburban areas (where the "ghetto" areas has less healthier options when the more affluent areas have healthier options at around the same prices as the less healthier options.)

I've lived in literally almost every city in Orange County and the town with the highest capita per household and I've lived in motels for years, as well as a hole in a warehouse attic for a year. I've also been in the most "ghetto" areas of Compton, Watts & Los Angeles, on the metro link and public transportation bus system and now live in Los Angeles County, very close by all the action, in a safe community.

If you are a Southern California resident, previous Southern California resident or just want to chime in; by all means.

These are just observations that I’ve noticed, since moving to Los Angeles County over a decade ago.

About a third of the ads, when you live in Southern California, are in Spanish; either on the billboards, radio, television or internet apps/websites. There is even half and half, English and Spanish reading material everywhere. All documents come in English and Spanish at all government and education buildings, and websites. Sometimes Spanish is even shown first, before English, in the United States.

Also, another thing I’ve noticed, since moving to Los Angeles County, is that black people were the lead actors and actresses in all the commercials. Where the white males in the commercials were made to look either stupid or inferior.

Ever since the pandemic, now Asians, specifically Chinese, are now in most of the lead acting roles in commercials, advertisements and even movies and music.

Last year, there was a big push for older women with younger men, being popularized in Hollywood.

I think this year, I noticed red/orange haired white/Irish women, making their way into the spotlight but who knows what will happen and what Hollywood and the entertainment industry has in store.

I lived in the San Diego area for more than 30 years. I loved the weather and in general the people. I left 10 years ago because of the direction the political wind was blowing.

I hear a lot of great things about San Diego County, when it comes to the people you come across, compared to Los Angeles or Orange County.

After living in Orange County all my life and moving to Los Angeles County 11 years ago, it was quite the culture shock.

All fast food places, restaurants, super markets and convenient stores were more expensive than Orange County and had less healthier options. Granted it’s cheaper to live in Los Angeles County than Orange County but you really get what you pay for here. A cheap studio apartment is going to be in someplace like Inglewood, it’s going to have a cockroach and bed bug issue, you’re going to smell a lot of marijuana in the apartment complex and there is a high probability that you’ll hear your neighbors yelling at each other, having sex, or having a loud party.

i’m blessed to not live in a place like that but i remember how different even ordering ice cream was from thrifty’s was. In Orange County, you order the ice cream, they make it, they hand it to you and you pay for it. Here in Los Angeles County; you order the ice cream, you pay first, they make it, they hand it to you. The lack of trust companies have towards customers, truly makes you feel unwelcome, instead of companies having real customer service, where they will bend hand over foot to make you happy.
