I'm Phelipe, I'm 23y old, I was born in Brazil and I live here currently. I'm Christan since I was born, but I was just forced by may passed away grandmother to go to the church. I really started to follow Jesus by myself on one month ago. I don't consider I totally know Jesus but now I'm in the path to know him. I'm struggling with depression and anxiety but I believe that one day I'll be healed in the name of Jesus. I'm here to chat w u all and answer any question.

It seems like you're going through a lot, but by seeking God and putting your trust in him and his plan for your life, I know you can get through it!

I am a new Christian and a new member of this site, and everyone on here has been very helpful, giving me a lot of advice and support as I begin my walk with jesus. This is a wonderful community, and I know that if you have any questions or just need someone to talk to, everyone on here (including myself) would be more than happy to help!

I rejoice with you that you are sharing the news that you are a new child of God and growing in your faith. A person who proclaims that they have believed and trusted in Christ Jesus for their salvation is now God's child. This means you have been adopted into the family of God. See this verse: Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" You are now on the narrow path following Jesus, See this verse: Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." This is a journey that one day we will be with the Lord forever in person. Heaven is the final destination. The path of walking as a Christian is not as easy one and anybody who tells you that you will not go through trials in this world and this life He has graciously given to us. Trials and hard times do come. People will not always be nice when they discover you love Jesus and live for Him. The JOY is that We are His children and the Holy Spirit lives inside all believers to guide, counsel, comfort you. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity (God the Father ~ God the Son ~ God the Holy Spirit). Praise God for your new birth. Reach out anytime for support and prayer.

Hi Phelipe2 glad you are joining us, welcome! I just watched Gather25 and how the church is expanding in SoAM as well as the other continents truly inspiring. One way of receiving healing from negative feelings is to look up all the promises God left us and the greatest gift of eternal life. Depression is an attack from an evil spirit. If you know someone mature in Jesus, ask them to pray for you.

I hope you come to learn that spiritual wellness has a way of bringing
peace and calmness to the soul when one learns to practice the inspired
teachings of Jesus Christ.
