UPDATE:.
.
Steve is back at his home now.
He's experiencing relief because, although he's hooked up to an IV, it's actually not sounding a loud alarm through the night depriving him of sleep. Whenever he was in the hospital, the alarm was often sounding for hours at a time because the nurses station would not answer calls. Whoever hooks it up or tends to it did not properly apply the IV system. Some of them ignore patients when their machine sounds the loud honking alarm rather than correct the devices. Then the charge nurses blame the patients for bending their elbow or whatever.
I know he must've had good service from someone there because they all can't be like that.
When he passed out in the ER, he listened to the Drs and nurses discuss his death when he woke up. Don't you love it how these caring professionals discuss death at the bed of someone they guess might be dying?
As if a patient in the ER is not stressed physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually enough to be in that situation, those in a so called life saving position are discussing death next to a living patient. That can send someone into serious despair and I will say, affect outcome, to be conservative.
To remind or inform those who did not read the previous posts, he reports that they denied him water for 22 hours. Had I known about his admission at the time, I would have provided what him all the water he wanted. I noticed that hospitals and Hospices often dehydrate patients.
He was worried that they were going to do to him what a wicked hospice Dr did to his Dad at a nursing home where he went to recover.
Anyhow, he isn't one to exaggerate or be dramatic. If I were on a jury deciding on the facilities, I would side with the patient's testimonies over the administration, Drs, billing staff, nurses, therapists, charge nurses, insurance company agents.
It's the grace of God that he's alive in spite of that 0rdeal at the sorry excuse for a health care facility. I've witnessed enough there and at Select Specialty Care Hospital, 4th floor, to believe patients when they testify of their ordeals, and yes, even an occasional positive thing. I have far more reason to say that I will not be attending those horrible excuses for hospitals except to visit patients.
May God protect those innocent people in need.
Since he is home and has a family member living with him, he has supervision. I'm checking frequently too. He's improving slowly and going in the right direction.
The Lord is the reason he's improving and gets all of the credit. That is why our prayers are important.
Thank you for your prayers!
☺️♥️
He is also grateful and sends his appreciation.
