Most fortune 500 companies need 5-10 years from a new hire to justify the cost of hiring and training them. Five years from today they are anticipating ASI with Artificial intelligence doing 40% of the jobs. That is white collar jobs. So why would you hire any new hires this year?
Most new hires at a fortune 500 company do not start yielding a return on investment until more than a year after they are hired. By 2027 they are anticipating AI to reach ASI, at least ASSI (that is super intelligence that is specific to particular jobs). So right when the new hire begins to give you a return on investment they are obsolete?
Initially you hire people to help with training of the AI. But once the companies begin using the AI in the workplace their is on the job training. We can also expect the pace of improvement to pick up as AI is deployed in more and more situations.
