This is the thermostat on my newly installed hot water heater. I have the manual but I cannot find as to how the thing is to be interpreted.
Does anyone out there ave any experience with such a device? Please share how to read it. There are no numbers and only one indicator but what does that indicator indicate????
I find nothing by image searching, by YouTube, nor by text searching on Bing... HEL!!!

That is different, my guess is as the needle goes to the deeper colour it would mean hotter.

I think the white would just indicate cold.
