To answer so that it can be understood clearly.

The question and accusation:

If there is a God, why does he allow evil in the world?

The person asking should rejoice that God does allow for free will and choice. For if he were to return and exact His justice separating good from evil, as it is written to allow co existence until the end, then they would be found wanting.

Then a true statement would be, it is not God who allows evil, it is man who chooses to do it to his neighbor.

So I think, the question my Lord would ask in return is, Why do you, who you call man good based on the wisdom of man, judge God for “allowing” evil, yet allow your fellow man to do evil to one another and sometime participate in it yourself?

Because If a person asks this question judging God, then they must know what is good and what evil! Yet if they truly know this, then they know God! Yet by them asking that very question reveals they know neither. Nor do they truly want to know God least their sin be in the light.

Remember brothers and sisters. Wake up, Keep the faith, prepare. Not for the things, or keeping of things of this world which is ashes and dust. Rather the promise and reward which is God for those born again through His son truly repenting from their sins in sackcloth and ashes.

Love all, serve all, this is the way

A brother in Christ

God is bound by his own words, his promises. God can not lie. Everything in creation in heaven and earth are subject to Gods word.
