The bible in *Genesis 4:8 NKJV* says..

Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.

You see, in the story of Cain, his anger and jealousy grew unchecked. Leading him to kill is only brother.. if you don't check your emotions you might end up committing sin.

One life example I can use is as follows;
- You work hard on a project, but your colleague takes credit for your efforts during a meeting. You feel angry and resentment bubbling up.

- If you allow this anger to grow unchecked. You will start gossiping about your colleague to others, spreading negative comments about their character. You can even sabotage their work out of revenge..

Family, it’s important to manage your emotions. Don’t suppress them, but learn to respond in a way that reflects God’s wisdom and love

Prayer point..
1. Oh God almighty through your Holy Spirit teach me how to manage my emotions in a way which will reflect your wisdom and love, in Jesus Christ name Aman 🙏

I hope you are blessed by this message...

Oh u r soooo right about this ! I don't think any of us wants to b a cold hearted person , someone who doesn't have any emotional responses , but at the same time our emotional responses can very quickly get us in to deep trouble . I found that I have to train myself to keep myself on an even keel . I'm a bit oversensitive and I also get badly affected when I c suffering , animals or human . TV and the internet will either depress us or desensitise us . I try not to look at either very much any more . I have and still do , pray to God to help me to b strong but not hard hearted . It's a difficult balance for me . One thing that helps me is remembering that God sees and knows everything everywhere every day . He is in charge and in control and I'm allowed to pour my heart out to Him about those things that upset me . Only He truly understands me and why I am so sensitive about certain things and only He can truly help me , and He does every day . Don't bottle your feelings up , that way leads to big trouble , talk to God about them , every day if u need to . He wants us to talk to Him about everything , He understands us better than we understand ourselves and He will help . Keeping our emotions in check isn't a negative thing , it's not about turning our feelings off, that's not it , it's about feeling as usual but not allowing ourselves to b led astray by negative or sinful reactions to our emotions . I remember the old saying ' you don't have to say everything that u think ' well it's the same with emotions , u can feel them of course ! But just b careful how u express them , u can hurt others or yourself by saying or doing something in the heat of your emotion . Talk to God always , about everything , that's what He wants us to do . Prayer is the greatest therapy possible .
