I have been coming to this site off and on through the years. I leave, then find myself back here. Fellowship is important.

However, this is my first post this time. As I need prayer for strength.

I broke up with my fiance last year she had cheated on me over, and over to as why I left her but that's not relevant to my prayer request, I had moved back home.

The same week that I had moved home, I rode my motorcycle around my home town with my cousin, and his friend.

I wasn't going fast no, just enjoying taking my time. We went up one mountain, as I made the right turn, my bike took a fall on the right side of the road.

The road was kinda narrow, but big enough for a car to drive on. I hit a patch of gravel. I'm glad that I had a full faced helmet on that day.

Anyway, the fall broken both my tibia, and fibula. I undergone two surgery's. I am now, almost a year later about to undergo a third one.

Since my wreck I had not been able to walk. I am wheelchair dependent. I had to make myself learn to drive my jeep with my good leg, while my right one was tucked behind my good one.

It's been a rough year. I have a plate, screws, a rod all implanted in my leg. With everything that I have been through, God protectede even then.

If I were to have fallen to my left, I would have fallen down the hill, while hitting trees. I won't be riding again.

Please keep me in prayer.
God Bless

How has your relationship with the Lord changed during this time of difficulty?

I still write, that had not changed. I have dealt with having my faith tested quite a bit.

I do pray and read scripture. I also have friends that I talk to daily that God brought my way and that had helped me a whole lot. They keep my laughing, and we discuss scripture and God.

Even when I was with my ex I was severely tested. However, I know all of it was for a reason.

Its all about focusing on God more than any other relationship that could be presented in the world. A relationship with God is far more important.

So, with that. I have my good, bad days. But God is always here.

If I'm not being too invasive, what constitutes a good day and what constitutes a bad day?

A good day is when I am at ease without the attacks from satan. The bad days? Are whe satan attacks. At times I remind him of his future.

However, what goes with a good day is no pain. I have days with pain and not, tested and not. Its a battle. However, I have not given up yet. Even though satan wants me to, and tries to push me to I don't.

Just like many others when we are on the right track, we will be tested. Face hardships etc.. but with God we are never poor.

Where I live now it's kind of a run down trailer, my cousin is my neighbor. But, this time I have even when writing helps me to have more good days than bad.

Would you be open to another perspective?

We often allow circumstances to dictate for us what is good and bad. To be sure, you have suffered in a number of ways. But the way we view our circumstances has a great deal to do with how we see good and bad.

When my oldest son was young, we watched sports together. The local teams I took as my rooting interest were notoriously bad. And he took some glee in pointing this out to me. So one day as he commented that my team had lost badly, I told him my team had actually won. Surprised, he asked me how I drew such a conclusion. I told him that my team had won because they had scored. And not only had they won that game, but had won every game that season. He told me that I couldn't redefine winning as such. So I asked him why I could not? Because, said he, that's not how winning is defined. I simply replied that I was free to define winning as I liked.

What's the point? You can define good and bad as you choose. Biblically, if God is working all things for the good of those who love him, there are no bad days. It is likely that in the days of attack and pain, God is at work in you willing and doing of his good pleasure than when these things are not occurring.

Romans 8 says we are more than conquerors. Have you ever considered what this means. It makes sense that we are conquerors if we are in Christ. After all, He has overcome the world. But why are we more than conquerors? Because not only with Christ do we conquer, but God actually takes the very thing meant to destroy us, and employs it to give us victory.

The bible is replete with examples. I'll share one. Three Hebrew children refused to worship an idol and were thrown into a furnace. The furnace was meant to destroy them. It didn't, however, and became the avenue of their deliverance and encounter with God.

God doesn't keep us from such circumstances. Rather, he comes and meets us in the midst of them. Perhaps if you redefine good and bad by whether or not you encounter God, you will find winning something you do more frequently.

Hope this helps in some way. Will be praying for you. Grace and peace.

Amen and Amen.

To be in Christ is to have victory in everything. Even in the bad storms, like in the good. Very true.

Thank you.

All things work for our good. When something is stolen from you, you can get an even better blessing from God.

Update:
I was on the plan for knee replacement. However, the new doctor wants me to go back to the original doctor to have the implants removed.
There is a problem with that.
I was med flighted over 2 hours to get the first surgeries.

It’s going to be very hard to get there just for another surgery to remove the hardware, and yet another surgery to implant different hardware to replace my knee.

However, I left a voicemail to see what options there are to get this done because with being out of work for close to a year I can’t drive over 2 hours with a 4 hour round trip every time they choose fit.

Will see what God plans. I’ll keep you guys updated.
God Bless
