my fellow brothers & sisters in Christ... why I am here, most curious, (about this site) years ago I came across a website for rapture watchers... The host would pick a date of the rapture based on star alignments.
He even had some scientist video's he would show based on star alignments & the Christians would cheer, and roar and say I cannot wait... Then the date would pass, and the host would pick another date a few months down the road..... & cheering & roaring would begin again, I should mention that the Christians also seemed like a closely knit Family ( I was still an outsider at this point & did remain an outsider)
After a few more missed raptures and the cycle continuing I criticized their behaviour and left the group, I only infrequently visited the group....after a few years & The GOOD LORD JESUS smote what seems a lot of arrogance & pride out of me....
I gather I somewhat missed the point that they were just a Christian family that had bonded around potentially rapture dates and it was not really about the exit dates per say.... after trying to see if I could if the group was still ongoing, so I could return with a new attitude.. I could not find the group and was little disappointed that I could not.... so I thought there must be some other groups of Christians out there that come together...
I am not going to a local Church at this time, I thought I have a little different beliefs than the main stream Christians... however I no longer believe this, mostly communicating my beliefs is not easily conveyed... for I am the foolish things of the world & the Chief Sinner....
just for clarification ( it is by Grace ye are Saved, not of works, lest.....) nothing but the Blood of JESUS.... that said I believe faith & love is the new covenant....
I believe I am suppose to return to Church, sometime's I do not want to make the time or feel hard pressed to find the time... yet I know this is important and have made a plan to try & start around Easter....we will see....
thought I would check this site out, looking forward to reading and posting some comments... believe me when I say confrontation is the last thing on my heart.. curious to hear from fellow Christians, and hear what's on their hearts.....
