In a sunny yard where laughter bloomed,

Lived a furry friend, who brought joy to every room.

Cookie, oh Cookie, with a wagging tail so grand,

A heart full of love, a soul so wonderfully planned.

With eyes like chocolate, sparkling and bright,

You chased after shadows, and danced in the light.

Through fields we would wander, side by side,

In every adventure, you were my pride.

Your bark was a symphony, a chorus of cheer,

You greeted each morning, with a spirit so dear.

From playful leaps to gentle cuddles at night,

You filled my world with pure delight.

But time, it can be cruel, and days slip away,

As seasons keep turning, and shadows grow gray.

Beneath the old oak, you took your last rest,

Leaving pawprints on hearts, forever blessed.

Now I walk these paths, where memories remain,

Every rustling leaf whispers your name.

In the warmth of the sun, in the soft evening breeze,

Cookie, dear Cookie, you’re forever at ease.

Though the world feels a little less bright,

Your spirit shines on, a beautiful light.

In dreams, you still frolic, in fields of pure gold,

Together, one day, our stories unfold.

Romans 8:18–25
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Thankyou Father for your word 🙏🙏💖💖🙌🙌😍😍

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel.
I've lost dear friends, family pets and it's never easy. 😔
What a beautiful poem.
