He said he would look into the individuals serving time for crimes carried out on January 6th at the Capitol. He described them as “our great hostages” and argued that many “didn’t do stuff wrong.” The president said that the order pardoned some of the individuals, but the scale remains unclear.
The president also said he would be mandating all federal agencies to “preserve all records related to political persecutions” from the previous administration.

He's not done yet... by the time his first day is over - he will complete 6 Speeches and the Press Conference he finished earlier...
Right now he is speaking at a Ball to Honor the Military!!! Just finished (oops, he's still talking) his FORTH SPEACH of the DAY!!!

The balls cap off a marathon inauguration day for the president, which started with a church service Monday morning, tea at the White House with Joe Biden, the outgoing president, a swearing-in at noon in the Capitol rotunda, followed by remarks at an indoor parade at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
